BuyNLarge

Check this out: buynlarge.com/

It’s a tie-in with “WALL-E”, and features a clip of Fred Willard! Apparently, you really can buy large with ByNLarge.

I just saw it, how awesome!

That’s not Fred Willard, that is Pixar’s very own Mark Andrews !

BTW: It’s BuynLarge not ByNLarge.

Thanks for the correction(s). Anyway, it says that it’s becoming a real site on the 13th. Plus, it seems to confirm the rumours of live actors…

I wonder how much live-action will be used in the film.

I’m, more curious as to…

[spoil]…how they’re going to pull off the human race if there’s all live actors. They’ve been described as huge blobs of flesh. Unless they use something like the Fat B****** costume from “Austin Powers” for everyone, they might have to use a bit of CGI for that…[/spoil]

^ Yeah, I wonder how they will do that… it actually, seems kind of dark for a Pixar movie.

Really reminds me of X-S Tech from the defunct Magic Kingdom show Alien Encounter, though originating from Earth and modeled slightly after Wal Mart.
I could easily see BuyNLarge using X-S’s slogans of “If it can’t be done with excess, it shouldn’t be done at all” or “Seize the future with excess”.

Wow, that’s awesome, nice find Ryan!!!

I love buynlarge.com! Anywho, this reminds me of a Phil of the Future (bad show) episode when one of the characters says a website that I forget the name to, and when you try to visit the website, it goes to the Disney homepage. Creative.

Haha – I just saw it. Awesome! I love it!

Thanks for the link, Ryan!

– Mitch

I keep clicking the little red dot but nothing happens. Is that how I’m supposed to open the clip?

That is Mark Andrews! Oh wow! I just loved watching it. WALLE just poped right into my mind though.

Now buynlarge.com/ says it will open on July 25th and not July 13th. I think Pixar is pulling a trick on us. I bet the release date will keep getting pushed back.

JV - Huh, that’s odd. Maybe their having server issues…or something.

JV - Hmm. That’s weird. That’d be funny if Disney/Pixar was playing a trick on us, but they may also, as Gasduude stated, have “server issues” or something. Hmmm…

Try moving your mouse over the 25. It has yet another disclaimer.

Ryan - Oh! Heheh. Well, that explains things. Thanks for the “heads up”!

This site is getting weirder by the second! :stuck_out_tongue:

Gasduude - That’s the best part! “Weirdness” rules!

Mitch - Ha, yep! :sunglasses: Still I wonder what this is all about…
