I liked the two first movies of shrek, but I hated the 3 and 4 movie. shrek’s boring
Seems like the general consensus, here.
I like the first 2, hated 3 and have’t seen 4 yet.
1 and 2 were good and 3 and 4 sucks I would not bother to see 4 if I were you.I still think Cars 2 is better then all the Shrek Movies and should not be lower then them on RT…
Ah, Shrek. I liked the first two, the third and especially the fourth were painful though. I can’t even understand how Cars 2 is below them. How? Is that even possible?
We have all come to the conclusion that people are just bashing Pixar now and have been waiting for a perfect time to do it…And Cars 2 being a sequel to Pixar’s weakest film was the chance to do it,
So true. I’m just surprised by some of the reviews I have been reading. Some are acting as if this movie is the end of the world for Pixar.
I know that bothers me ITS NOT THE END PEOPLE PIXAR WILL COME BACK!
Mater:Shoooot my movie was not that bad was it…
I wonder how Dreamworks reacted.
I mean its currently on RT at 34%. That is not a fair rating. I think its safe to say that the Oscar and Golden Globe awards will be going to either Dreamworks or Blue Sky next year.
They prolly went underground and prayed to the god of animation and said thank you for doing this we owe you our souls now continue to DOOM PIXAR and then super long evil laugh just kidding guys I am also curious what they think…
All I know is Brave needs to be good. If not we will never hear the end of it from the critics and haters.
I think they should cancel Monsters University and try to keep it original…I think Brave will be good and then Monsters U will be a flop
I am pretty confident that Brave will do phenomenal.
Monsters University should have been a sequel. I wanted to know what happen to Boo.
Brave looks good so far, can’t wait.
Same here I think Brave will bring Pixar back but the thing I am worried about is Monsters University not being good and being a flop…
I doubt Monsters University will fail. The first film did end pretty perfectly and was critically praised. Since Monsters University is a prequel (which is something Pixar have never done before), they may be able to pull it off well.
Ugh, why are we sitting here worrying about the future? We do this EVERY YEAR guys.
This is a thread for the now: For what we thought of Cars 2. Pixar making a fun, silly film doesn’t mean they’ve suddenly lost their artistic mojo and worrying will turn hairs white that don’t need to be white.
Anyways, we’re so off topic.
As someone who has been defending the critics the most in this thread, I think Pixar will be fine. No one else on the senior creative team but John Lasseter was involved with this film and I think he uses this franchise to indulge his own corporate tendencies while thankfully allowing everyone else to keep their reputations intact.
I have no doubt Pixar will return with a vengeance with Brave, and it already looks like they’re taking that project more seriously than they did Cars 2.
