That is a genius thought! But wouldn’t that make all the females of a family always look very similar, as if they aren’t related to their father? And vice versa with the males? Just a curious thought.
Yeah, fan fics have drilled that into our minds but even before reading some I still always pictured a girl…not sure why. I think maybe it’s because I would love to see a daddy’s girl rather than a mommy’s boy. 
As for the colour, again it’s been set into our minds that their baby would be purple and I think that is quite possible. But say that they weren’t both primary colours, then how would it work? Just like the make I think they could come out the same colour as the mother or father and then could always just change it to their own personal preference later. OR they could have the make of one parent and the colour of the other parent! That satisfies both questions doesn’t it?

I think 99% of things are cute as babies and cars would be no exception!
That would be a major dilemma that I would like to see be explored. If it were a girl though, I doubt it would matter because we don’t see any females in the Piston Cup. If you ask me, I think that is really unfair but at least there was one in the Grand Prix.
Fanfiction on the brain again. This is true about if she would even be allowed to race in the Piston Cup. She could be like the Cars version of Danica Patrick. I was so happy to see a girl racer in the Grand Prix! I didn’t even notice for half of the movie [spoil]until her engine blew in the Italy race and they said “Carla Vesolo” and I saw her windshield and I was like “Oh my gosh, it’s a girl! NO WAY!” I think she’s from Brazil.[/spoil]
Yeah, I only knew about her before-hand because of the turn-tables and stuff that they released. Too bad her part was so short. And yes, she’s from Brazil which is cool.

McQueen’s family is something I would love to know more about. I have many different ideas as to what they could be like but I’m not certain of any of them at all. It seems that in the Cars world they are a lot less connected with their family. It looks as though once you are an ‘adult’ you just leave the nest and begin your own life. I mean, we don’t even hear mention of Flo and Ramone having children, or siblings for any of the characters besides the twins.

Since they don’t have hair it kind of hard to tell just from how the way they look. I think the easiest way to tell their gender is through their voice and facial reactions.
