I keep being drawn to Merida’s mouth, jaws, and chin. They’re very peculiar, like there’s a slight underbite or the mouth is going off to the side. I’m not criticizing or suggesting Merida isn’t pretty at all (not that it matters), just curious
 One of my favorite things about Rapunzel’s design and animation in Tangled was ever-so-slightly large front teeth and an overbite, which was cute and charming to me.

That was actually my first commentary.

But I suppose that image is a promotional, so a change of elements isn’t that weird. ]It even happens in live action.

Yes. So it probably is a banner and they added that color filter for promotional purposes.

Yes, I saw the flavor commentary, but in Ratatouille, the lightning doesn’t happen in that angle. Unless this is concept art
 which was my other theory.

Also, there seems to be snow in the pic.

Yes, it’s too much of a coincidence that the lighting is also striking a chimney, but as I don’t remember seeing that concept art, I thought I should share it.
