Japanese trailers are always the most epic.
I loved that trailer. Makes me wonder if an American version will be released as a final trailer or something.
I doubt it. The Japanese versions of earlier Pixar trailers have never gotten an exact English version.
The Japanese trailer is pretty much perfect, tonally and in the editing. Made me even more excited.
Except, what is the Japanese title exactly? All I could make out was âMerida and the (something) Forestâ or something along those linesâŠ
The âFrighteningâ forest. Terrible ![]()
But one can dream of an English version canât they? ![]()
LOL! Odd, I didnât think the forest itself was that important to the plot? Granted I only have the gist of it.
I donât know if you watched the trailer with subtitles one, but they mention the forest a LOT.
I think it will be more important than we thought.
I wonder if itâs suppose to be a forbidden forest. Iâm guessing the Witch lives somewhere in it also.
I suppose she does, since in this trailer she asks the Wisps to take her to the Witch.
I wonder what everyone becoming bears has to do with changeing her fate.
I always think of the filmâs original working title whenever I see the two posters.
Talking about posters, look at the Japanese one:
Itâs very pretty, I hope they keep it as the international poster.
It is very much a Japanese poster. Relatively minimalist in subject matter but striking in terms of color and presence. Love it ![]()
It also has to be my favorite picture of Merida released so far.
I agree. Her red hair stands out really beautifully against the background colors.
That poster looks really cool.
The orange/teal palette has been pretty overkilled recently, though. It was pointed out that a lot of movies used these two colors. Most recent one was Hugo, its cinematography is filled with these two colors.
It is so coool.
