Not all the humor. I am happy this is more mature then Cars 2. It was just more childish then most Pixar films.
i don’t want this film to have humor in it. I want it be more emotional/serious. i wanna be able to cry. i wasn;t able to do that with cars 2…
Same here.
That’s exactly what I think.
A very emotional and serious film can still have humour on it. Think of past Pixar’s films as Up or Toy Story 3.
I don’t think there one film, of any genre, without at least one instance of humour.
I don’t mind a little bit of humour, but I don’t want alot of humour in it^^.
Not to worry, guys. Brave will supposedly be Pixar’s darkest film yet, so you can expect plenty of drama and emotion to balance out the comedy.
I think it should still have humor in it. Every film has had some. Plus laughing is good for people. They don’y need a ton but ebough to keep people in their seats.
Some of the humor in the trailers seemes kinda forced, almost as if the movie was too serious and it needed some lighthearted content(it can’t be TOO dark, don’t forget children will still be a large part of the audience), so I think you guys who want a darker tone shouldn’t have to worry about that. If Pixar didn’t screw up handling humor with darkness in TS3, I think Brave won’t suffer either. I was always afraid TS3 wasn’t gonna work out, but they handled it perfectly.
Both Brave’s facebook page and Disney/Pixar’s twitter pages announce : “On Tuesday, you’ll be posed with the ultimate Brave question. Be prepared.”
What could it be ?..
^^It’s interesting that both posts included this photo: yfrog.com/nr4yj
Could the question relate to the rival kings and the suitors? If the question is “which boy will Merida marry?” I will not be smiling. I want to see her free and independent at the end of Brave, not married to someone out of an obligation to her family, or even out of love.
If you had the chance to change your fate…Would you?
thats my guess
“The time has come to see if you’re up for the challenge posed by the ultimate question. Click below to watch the latest video from Brave and decide.”
Well, finally the question wasn’t very… serious. A short video who parodies fashion ads.

“Will you be Brave enough to wear a kilt ?”
They ruined a perfectly decent trailer at the end. ![]()
I think the real question if if I’m Brave anough to watch a trailer with that line.
Well, that was anticlimactic. Sheesh.
Agreed. WHY was that necessary?
That was pretty dissapointing. I really did not like what happened at the end.
I’ll probably be bashed again for this, but I’m not happy about this.
This is the THIRD gross joke we’ve been seen so far.
The tasteless direction this film seems to have taken is disappointing and un-Pixar like. I suppose that’s what happens when you leave a film to the mercy of a new generation of Pixarians.
Lol, that was pretty silly. I don’t have a problem with them doing featurettes like this although I’m disappointed that there haven’t been more trailers (hopefully) revealing the true nature of Brave. Only the latest full-length trailer and the Japanese one to my knowledge.
The gag at the end was lame but I kinda doubt it’ll be in the actual movie.
I dislike the joke at the end, but I do agree with Leirin- I seriously doubt we’ll see it in the film. I’m just going to put the blame on Disney’s marketing department and try to pretend this never happened.
