I could tell it was gonna be PG from the start. Just by the way it looks.
In short: All Pixar films starring humans have been PG.
I knew this one was going to be too.
^That’s a good observation. I never quite made the connection.
Apparently the kids feel more scared when the humans are in danger than when animals or living objects are.
It’s been very obvious that Brave will garner a PG rating.
I don’t know, the “rude humour” we’ve seen thus far doesn’t really faze me. Mainly because the Middle Ages did have quite a bit of bawdiness going on! Even The Canterbury Tales has its share of butt and fart jokes
I’m not trying to jump in and say that any of you guys who dislike those jokes for personal reasons/tastes need to just brush it off, but I thought it wouldn’t hurt to point out that the inclusion of body humour/mooning jokes/etc in this context isn’t wholly inauthentic, and doesn’t necessarily point to immaturity ![]()
On a fun note, has anyone seen this new clip? Not like anything’s going to top the recent mother/daughter video for me, but it’s still really cute: youtube.com/watch?feature=pl … yHHI8VRF-Q
You have a good point. I’ll never be fond of that type of humor but you’re certainly right about that.
Thanks for sharing the clip, btw!
Nice clip, and proof that the comic relief in this film will not be out of place.
Even though there’s some crude humoe let’s be thankful they have they right accent’s. Most Disney or Pixar character have an American. I like them, but they could have the right accent more often.
At the end of the Mother’s Day Featurette, did anybody see one of the wisps?
Yes.
I’m sure all that part is from the last scene from the film, and I’m suspecting that shot you refer could be the very last one.
Not cool showing it so early.
Okay, I admit I was curious, so I browsed through a Where’s Waldo type book in the Disney Store featuring Brave, and it seems like a lot of the story is given away. Or at least some of it? I gotta stop spoiling the movies with children’s books. I did that last with Wall-E.
Not much longer left! What, less than two months? ![]()
Yup, 41 days, to be exact. I can’t wait! ![]()
Anyone seeing this on opening weekend or night?
I sure am wanting to, if I can get the money and a ride. ![]()
Obviously, but the problem is that I don’t know when will that be ![]()
I’ll be aiming for the following weekend, but I’m not sure yet.
I hope to see this on opening weekend. Perferably on my birthday which is the day after it gets released.
Mot sure. My grandma is suppose to come for me and my brother’s birthdays. So maybe we can go as a family on my brother’s birthday, the day it gets releashed.
