Central Cars 2 Discussion (Part 2)

I think it has a shot to being nominated but I doubt it’ll win.

I think Cars biggest chance is the Kid’s Choice Awards.

I think Cars 2 might have an Oscar nomination, but very little chance of winning.

Thats my thought too.

Please, don’t get me started about The Kids Choice Awards.

I’ve never watched them

You shouldn’t. That award show is just a complete joke.

I always thought of it as a bit of a joke.

Well, the concept is ridiculous. All of those awards were the audience chooses the winner are stupid, but when the audiences are children…

I’m sure it’s great when you’re like 10 though!

What I hate about it is that Spongebob ALWAYS wins. Every year it wins best cartoon, even though their’s better cartoons out there. Sometimes I think Nick cheats by having some adults shoose Spongebob. It’s just an over rated show.

Spongebob is quite possibly the most overrated cartoon ever.

I must admit I haven’t really seen it. But I’ve cached one or two scenes and its humor seems really dumb.

It surprises me that kids would rather watch a half hour of Spongebob and Patrick crying over something then Phineas and Ferb building something amazing.

That’s exactly what I’ve always thought.

I actually immensely enjoyed Spongebob… back when it was actually creative and funny.

I agree. Nickelodeon won’t get rid of it until they find something good to replace it for years to come, which won’t happen since the network has run out of creative ideas.

It’s like Rugrats. It was starting to get boting after being on for like 10 years and Spongebob was the replacement. They haven’t found a giid enough cartoon since.

That’s gotta be one of my favorite posts ever.

Anyway, the Kid’s Choice Awards are indeed a joke. I wonder if it would be any better if it wasn’t sponsored by a certain channel like Nick.
And back on topic, I still love all the detail Pixar put into Cars 2. I was watching scenes of it last night on our new TV and the scenes in Tokyo & Porto Corsa are so beautiful.

Indeed. It’s one of Pixar’s best films as far as the visuals go.
