It’s not just a cliché, but also makes kind of sense.
Axelrod wasn’t going to expose himself until the last second possible.

Axelrod wasn’t going to expose himself until the last second possible.
Yeah, but it still felt pretty predictable since I knew it was going to happen.
Yes, of course, but if something is natural, being predictable isn’t a flaw.
If I trow a glass to the floor, you can predict it’s going to break. It’s not a cliché, it’s simple what is normal.
I think the bomb instance would be a cliché if it’s the hero the one who’s deactivating it and he succeeds in the last second. But in this case there was an actual reasoning behind.
I have to agree^^.
“Have a good day, Sir Axlerod ” <----- Hahahahaha, I loved that.
Agreed. It’s sort of interesting how this time, the villain is basically the one to rat himself out.

I agree the situation wasn’t as cliché as I’ve seen it done previously, the villain did in fact expose himself. In most movies the hero somehow magically disarms the bomb himself [/size]
I’m going to agree with that. At least it wasn’t Mater who ratted Axlerod out.
That’s a very good way of analyzing it, SoA.
What do you guys think of Cars 2 not getting nominated.
I loved Cars 2, so I’m somewhat bummed it didn’t get any nominations. But I know a lot of people didn’t like it, so I’m not surprised that it wasn’t nominated.
It was expected, I’m not surprised at all.
I’m not really surprised either. Oh well, it got a Golden Globe nomination
I’m not surprised that it wasn’t nominated.
Not surprised. The film was definitely a disappointment on Pixar standards.
I’m kinda glad Cars 2 didn’t get nominated. It will be a little change for the Awards.
Wrote an article about my reaction here: adventuresinhypergraphia.blogspo … oscar.html
Take a look! I assure you it’s not a whiny mess.
Meh, I really didn’t like cars 2 that much anyway. With that said I’m not surprised it got shut out. At least this will allow the oscars to be a lot less predictable.
Exactly. It would feel alot fresher to see another animation studio win Best Animated Feature instead of Pixar winning year after year. It would become pretty stale quickly.
I really enjoyed reading that.
I don’t think Nick has ever won Best Animated Picture because they don’t make the best movies.
