Anyone who knows me outside of this site knows I’m like a sailor when is comes to the use of words, but I respect that fact that I’m on this site, and I don’t even put slight vulgar in my words. I know you probably meant it as a light-hearted jest with good intentions, but if someone has taken offense, the best response is to apologize, even if you meant it as a joke.
x3haijessiex3, xCarsLuverx put smiley faces in the first comment, so she was probably just pulling your leg. And while she tends to rave about Lightning and Sally, she has the right to do so under the First Ammendment (or is it Second? Sorry, I’m not American). Same with her criticisms of Mater. We may not have to agree with her, but we can certainly try to respect her pairing love and fandom.
And xCarsLuverx, you in turn, must not take offense when people question Lightning and Sally’s romance, or when they praise Mater, or they say anything which you disagree with. You may write a retaliatory argument, but don’t take it personally. As much as you have the right to your own opinion, so do other people too. If you find that neither of you can agree on something, agree to disagree. There is no need to defend a belief when it is this trivial as a movie and its characters (not saying that you don’t have the right to do so, but there are more things to life than just films).
It’s JUST A MOVIE, guys.
