It’s been confirmed, Cars 2 will be released in mid-August in my stupid country.

I HATE every studios and movie theaters representative responsible for this. I might get really violent in the next months.

Here in Spain the movie won´t air until July so i´ll have to wait a bit more :laughing: But i am so impatient that i´ll end watching the cam rip

That’s the worst thing. A lot of people will turn out to piracy. They’re so dumb in Disney they apparently don’t realize that.

I won’t watch it i a pirate copy out of respect for Pixar, and because the quality is very poor. But I’m seriously thinking in not watching more Disney features in theaters.

I’d give Disney some benefits of the doubt. There’s no way they hold out on other countries on purpose. Obviously I have no clue as to what leads to the delay (licensing? dubbing? finding reasonable release slot given other blockbusters’ release in other countries?), but I’d say no sane business would hold out on their big releases for no reason.

I think they wanna avoid competence from Kung Fu Panda. Other than that, I can’t see any reason. Besides, it’s not their first time.
