Central Cars 2 Discussion

Not that I’ve seen. I mean, I know he can think what he wants, but the illogical and untrue to the plot logic he uses drives me nuts!!

People like that bother me. I mean, there’s a difference between having a valid opinion and just being plain unreasonable. I wouldn’t know though, so I’ll take a look at his reviews from past movies.

Yeah. I would do that, but honestly, I’m afraid of what he may have said of certain movies. I’m afraid. But if you dislike a movie, you should cite stuff that really happened in the movie, get the character’s names right, and be humane. Just bashing the heck out of a movie is not cool.

This bad review has no basis! It sounds like he didn’t even see the movie!

As always. :frowning: Jerks everywhere.

You should see Twitter. People won’t stop talking smack about Cars 2 and they’re even saying they haven’t seen the movie. I don’t think that’s fair, especially when what they’re basing their opinions on make no sense.

Yeah some people are just too quick to judge. It’s alright to have your own opinion but it’s not exactly fair to bash a movie you haven’t seen.

Apparently their opinion is to not see it. I don’t see the logic in it, but if they see the logic in it, good for them.

I don’t think those people have ever heard of the saying not judging a book by it’s cover. I bet if they gave it a chance, it’ll blow them away.

Some of the reviews even said those exact words. Went in with low expectations and then couldn’t believe their eyes when they came out.

So maybe this is a very promising sign for Cars 2?

Oh dear. Cars 2’s score on Rotten Tomatoes has gone down from 80% to 73% in just a few hours. Hopefully, when more people review the movie, this’ll go back up - well, we can hope!

Music video for Collision of Worlds. It’s got some new footage including some in Radiator Springs!

Once again, the reviewers are rubbish.

We’ll just have to wait for the movie to be public. I haven’t seen a tweet or blog post from a family viewer saying it was bad or having one complaint. So don’t worry, that score will fly right back up. In fact, the family views say they cried a little. The critics say there’s almost no emotion.

Critics themselves never have emotion. :unamused:

But yeah, that’s what I’ve seen, so it’ll have no problem going back up. :stuck_out_tongue: Especially since it has a lower score than the first Cars. That’s the score fluctuating due to the small number of reviews, so don’t get worried. You’ll see it go up and down all the way until the end.

That’s generalization once again. Eight critics have talked about the emotions, so because three say it doesn’t have, doesn’t mean critics never have emotion.

Keep in mind everyone that there are ONLY 11 reviews so far. RT gets around 200+ reviews for Pixar movies. I’m very sure it’ll go way back up.

That’s true - seems like families are loving the movie, I just hope critics warm to it. I’m trying not to get worried, even though the score has dipped down to 67% now. :open_mouth:

I still wouldn’t worry about it AT ALL.

I’m trying not to be nervous, but the 67 glares at me every time I look at the RT page.

Logically, of course, there isn’t much to fear at this time. Most films get around 100-150 reviews at least. Pixar brings in many more. We have 12 reviews–not 112. The score is incredibly likely to change.

Of course. What we don’t know if will change is the proportion.
