I just want to point out: BABY MIKE OMG OMG OMG SOOOOOOO CUTE. Apparently he’s always had braces.
Haha I didn’t notice the retainer when he was little…makes me wonder if monsters don’t have a set of baby teeth like we do so he’s always had the same teeth possibly? Although I don’t know why he’s worn the retainer for so long if that’s the case.
Ah yes, good ol’ Japanese trailers.
Oh my gosh, you have no idea how PUMPED this trailer just made me!
Just, GAH! This movie looks so much like classic Pixar, in every way!
It did seem very spoilery but luckily not being able to understand the dialogue helped. I’m absurdly happy over this.
this isnt a spoiler but my interpretation of what i think its gonna be about based on that trailer;
mike gets stuck in the human world and its up to his rival sully to save him. maybe…
and little mike! lol how can a monster look so precious?!
Oh wow when [spoil]Mike goes into the human orphanage?[/spoil]
I am so pumped for this!
I like it! Also, am I the only one here who doesn’t mind a few spoilers? I actually used to buy those Jr. Novelizations for the Pixar films and read the whole thing before I saw the film. So you would think that would bother me, but I guess since I hadn’t actually seen anything from the book actually happen yet, it wouldn’t be true until I saw it in the film myself. Besides, the movie was always SO MUCH better than the book’s interpretation. IDK, I was odd , but I don’t do it anymore. Nothing wrong with it, though.
Sorry, back on topic: [spoil]Mike is so tiny! I wonder if he started school early because he was so smart, or he’s just naturally always that small (probably this). I actually really like these trailers. I feel like I’m going to really relate to Mike in this movie. He will probably be he main character, and I think that would be a good idea this time around. And getting to see Monsters, Inc. (the company) was nice, too. And I have no idea what is up with those human kids![/spoil]

You can listen to what’s presumably part of the score in there.
I like the score And i can’t wait untill the whole site is finished.
One of the pictures on there makes it obvious that Sulley was once in ROR…and we know from the trailers that Randall eventually ends up in ROR.
Funny, I used to have braces at one point. Must be at least a toddler on that picture considering he is able to stand up. I noticed he also doesn’t have horns. May have grown them during his teen years.
I wonder if were see Sulley or Mikes parents. Their not realted to the story I’m sure but it would be interesting.
Well we do briefly see Mike’s mother during the company play scene in the original. I also recall Sulley’s mother on the phone to Mike at one point.
Oh yeah that’s right , we do see Mrs. Wazowski
its gonna be interesting to see a younger waternoose and roz.
I really hope Roz is in it even if just for a few scenes! She was one of my favorites and Bob Peterson is a Pixar regular so it would not be hard for Pixar to do. I heard Waternoose could be back although I’m not sure that he is that necessary for this film.
Considering Monsters Inc. IS in the film and that MU caters to Scareing as a major…we’ll probably see Waternoose as either guest speaker or in some appearance or another at MI (though WHEN is interesting…considering we see a far-past Monsters Inc. with little Wazowski and a later one when him and Sullivan, and OK, break into MI)
As for Roz…I don’t know if she’s in this…and considering she’s an undercover CDA operative…
I dunno…in the case of Roz…she’s like one of those “they are EVERYWHERE” type of people. If we see her, she’ll probably station herself somewhere interesting.
I think they’ll find a way to put Roz in the film. She is a popular character and brought a lot of laughs in the first film.
Here’s an awesome TV spot in case you guys haven’t seen it. I can’t believe I had no idea the movie could be this awesome when I first heard about it!
There’s a few little scenes in there that I hadn’t seen yet. Thanks for sharing!
