So something I’ve been wondering is will minor characters like Fungus make an apperence? I hope so! Also, will you guys see Monsters University in 3D? or regular?

About the other question, I watch all Pixar releases in 3D. They use it nicely.
I actually have never seen a Pixar film in 3D (besides the re-release of Monsters Inc). The reason be is that we have two theaters in our town. And Pixar films always play at the Old Movie house (along with re-releases of films from the 30s-60s and independent films) , with a single screen. They don’t have the equipment apparently for a 3D viewings.
Oh, that sucks.
I believe this one shall be seen in the very best screen, with all those beautifully photorealistic shots. And the short film!

Well, I have seen them all in 3D since Up. I was thinking of stopping the use of it with this film though. I don’t know. I feel bad about this, but the only one where I could see it really making a difference was with Finding Nemo. Maybe I sit too far back, or maybe it’s better on the re-watch when you already know what’s going to happen. I was really excited for 3D when I first heard about it, but then I found myself doing it just out of obligation. I might reconsider. We’ll see. Plus, I have a free ticket from the Monsters, Inc. 3D Blu-Ray combo pack and I’m not sure if it applies to either 2D or 3D, or just 2D.
The other bummer is that I can’t watch them in 3D at home because they glitch, except for Finding Nemo which runs perfectly. They loop on the same scenes and don’t get past that point unless you have a remote constantly at hand, except for Toy Story and Toy Story 2. Those two each have 3 glitches but pass after the first round. I can see the effect better in Disney movies, and none of those would glitch until Wreck-It Ralph. So now I can’t see that one either!

I said “apparently”, because some websites report that Frank Oz will be on the film.
Also, according to the sneak peek on the new Monsters, Inc. Blu-Ray release with Dan Scanlon, it’s hinted that Fungus and Roz will both be in the film since shots from the first film of them show up when he says that the audience will see some returning favorites, like Randall Boggs.
My opinion on MU is mixed. Ok, so I’m excited because its Pixar, and that its their first prequel, but by watching the trailer, I can usually tell roughly what the movie will be about, but this time… I am a little confused about it. But I’m looking foward to seeing Randall XD
For the record, I think I’m probably going to see it in 3D. Pixar really does rock at using 3D. And I usually only see one 3D film a year ('cause you and everyone else knows how expensive those tickets can be) with the most being maybe two or three, so I usually try and catch each year’s Pixar film in 3D (with the exception of Up and Cars 2 due to seeing them weeks after their release)… it makes it all the more special! 
I can’t watch movies in 3D. It messes with my eyes. I remember seeing Avatar in 3D… I lost my depth perception afterwards XD

That was awesome. The marketing for this film thus far has been quite creative.
The rival school, Fear Tech, hacked the MU website with their logos and Archie the scare pig. I actually wasted an hour clicking on the pigs and the logos, thinking if so many appeared that they filled the whole screen, there would be a secret message or something. And…well, no. There’s no prize, or maybe I didn’t stay long enough.
