I don’t really like him he’s very self centered and only wants attention.
What do you guy’s think of him?
He was not much of a villian in my opinion. However, I must say that Michael Keaton did a fantastic job voicing him. 
yeah he wasn’t much of a villan he just wanted to win probably annoyed by losing to the king everytime.
It’s hard to say how much of a villain he was. We don’t really know just how bad he is. Maybe he was just a jerk, the kind of car Lightning would have turned into if he hadn’t been marooned in Radiator Springs. After all, Lightning was kind of a jerk too at the beginning of the movie!
However, Chick does have a very dark side. He obviously doesn’t care about anyone but himself. Cars could have been killed in those accidents he caused. Obviously, he doesn’t care at all about hurting others. It’s a question how far he’d actually go.
Did he just mean to shove the King out of the way? Or was it true revenge, did he really want to hurt him? I tend to think he just wanted him out of the way, but he sure didn’t seem concerned about the King’s condition after the race.
It’s possible he’s just thoughtless. After all, Chick doesn’t have rearview mirrors, he may not even have realized how hurt the King was at the end of the race. He may have been so full of himself for winning that he didn’t even think about anything else - it just didn’t occur to him.
It would be interesting to see how Chick would have reacted if he’d actually killed the King. Would he be satisfied, cowed, remorseful? Don’t get me wrong I’m glad the King didn’t die, but it would have been interesting.
In my fanfic, of course, I portrayed Chick as a really bad car. So angry and bitter that he was driven to actual murder. But was he really like that? It’s hard to tell from the little we saw of him.
What does everybody think?
Not a villain, but definitely human. There are those in life who are selfish and will do anything to get to the top. But when you think about it, Hicks did seem a bit kinder than even McQueen… to his crew chief and the audience. It’s only at the end of the movie that McQueen changes for the better, not Hicks… but it’s not too late for him, hehe.
How do you think Chick would’ve reacted if a car had actually been killed in one of the accidents he caused?
Well, if he actually had Killed a car, I think that he would pretend that wouldn’t care one bit, I think that deep inside him, he is very shocked, if that were to happen.
I seriously don’t think that he is a Bad car, just… a little bitter but I bet that deep, down, he really does care

wow I couldn’t hate any cars but chicks mean! He’s definitly not evil and I think he’d feel bad if he hurt a car.
I don’t know,he hurt the King pretty bad and didn’t seem to care. I would think it would take something big to shake him up.
I am glad this thread is brought back up again. I think Chick is a great antagonist. He will don anything to win, even if it means crossing the line. I really like his attitude and his own “Ka-Khigga”

I still consider him a villain of the movie. He is one of those cars Doc described as “only cares about themself”
