College

Thanks TSS. I actually got into a few four year ones. But I want to go to the University of Maryland at College Park (one of the best non iv league schools). And the community college I am going to there is a straight transfer for my major.

Plus I can live rent free for like four more years

Hey, the less money you spend for a good education, the better.

This is my plan too! Well, not the mechanical engineering part! My current CC is considered the best in my State and one of the best in the country.

I want to transfer somewhere exciting and different, like Hawai’i, Alaska, New York, or Virginia. Even Utah or Louisiana would be cool. But I’ll probably have to stay in California, because it would be cheaper than paying out of state tuition and plane tickets. I could get away with Oregon or Nevada though.

CC is really the way to go if your going to a good like us. Basically your getting the first year or 2 of real college for cheaper (2 grand a semester for me).

I would love to go to college in North Carolina or something but like you it is cheaper to go stay in state. I’ve got some good instate college here. If you could go to Nedveda though that actually seems pretty cool espically if its Las Vegas  . What four year you aiming at right now?

2 Grand? Daaang, and I was complaining about the price of mine!

If you don’t mind me inquiring, what state do you live in? Haha, yeah, the only Nevada school I’m interested is University of Nevada at Reno. I’d consider going there if I am eligible for WUE. (If you’re from a Western state and to another Western state’s college you get in state tuition).

At the moment I’m looking into four California State Universities: Humboldt, Chico, San Francisco, and Monterey Bay.

Oh I live in Maryland

That WU thing sounds pretty cool I wish they’d do that with the trisate area (Maryland, Virgina and Washington DC) Going to school in Reno could be an experience.

What is your major?

Oh, duh! It says where you live under your avatar! My bad! Maryland, that’s cool I’d like to go there someday.

My major at the moment (I’ve changed it a couple times) is International Relations, with a concentration in Latin America. I’m pretty set on that.

Maryland is actually pretty boring lol. Two real attractions that aren’t too special. Califorina on the other hand it great. I went there in 2006 and loved it (pricy though haha)

That sounds pretty cool would that be a government thing. I know people wh have chnaged up their major a few times. Gotta find something that you will enjoy doing for the rest of your life or it becomes a job.

Yeah, Cali is expensive, but if you live here your whole life like I have, you are use to it! I love California too, it is so big that there’s a lot to do! Maryland is small on West Coast standards! I want to go to each of the original 13 colonies/states.

Maryland is really tiny. I am thinking the only smaller state is Delware (I like that state no sales tax lol) Yeah that is the thing about Cali it’s like 3 states conbimed in one big state. You can live in one city and still has so much to see but in Maryland you can go everywhere at least three times  .

I’ve been to all 13 orginal colonies and states some (like Delaware) really embrace it.

Whaaaa? Lucky! Which was your favorite?

I really liked New Hampshire, alot of history in that town. I wish I had spent more time there. Delaware is cool too and of course I love North Carolina (racing usa).

And of course Virgina is a cool state being that it is for lovers  .

A state for lovers? I have never heard that!

D’aww, a state for lovers? That sounds like where my friends need to jet off too

Why of course it is see http://www.virginia.org/

I finished university. I just have to complete my thesis, and that’s all.

My sister leaves for Arizona in a few weeks. TIme has gone by so fast. I’m gonna miss her.

Wow, you both are going off to University in the same year?

Yeah. I’m off to UC Irvine, she’s off to Arizona.

Sweet. Are you the same age, or did she choose not to go to a CC first?
