Crowd Report!

Honestly, I wish people would clap more. The actors and people might not be there. But its an expression to the greatness of something

hahaha! i’m totally doing it!!!
hey welcome 2 pixar planet! i luv ur avatar pic!

So, saw it today at the 2:15pm showing. Because of the time and it’s a weekday, I didn’t expect it to be full or anything, but I expected a good amount- it is the opening day, after all.

The cinema was about half-full, so not bad at all. The crowd was pretty good; they didn’t make any noise, aside from one man who clapped every now and then. There was no applause at the end, but I’ve never seen a film in the cinema where it’s been so good that the audience has actually applauded.

First time:

Full house for a Friday showing on the release date, with a full house exiting the theater as I went in. There was laughing, crying, and applause.

Second time:

Smaller theater, not full but it was during the afternoon and there were at least 10 other small groups there which filled out the theater at least halfway.

Third time:

Same smaller theater, on a Saturday during the evening, lots of people bringing their kids in huge groups. Laughing, crying, but no applause.

lol that sounds like me and my friends lol hahaha that reminds me sooo much of my friends!!!

Cockroach squishes “AHHH!!!”.Like all the mothers screamed at that part. Haha. Anyways, I was mad, because all 3 times no one ever applauded, including opening night with a lot of people. My town must just be really lame. I clapped at the end once but no one else followed so that was awkward.

It is annoying when kids are there. I classify Wall-E as a movie adults can relate to far more than kids. If I were 10- I’d just think of this as some visual funny movie.

Took a showing around 7 PM.

I’d say I had about a full house. Equal amounts of small children, teenagers, and adults.

Total laugh-out during Presto.

My crowd was pretty much silent the entire film, even the children. They laughed during the right times, but that was pretty much it.

I think about 3 people left after the movie ended. Everyone was silent. I’m going to assume that they felt the way I felt after it was over. Shocked, amazed, and something to think about. No applause though. I feel bad about that since I was considering starting it.

I hereby swear allegiance to the Pixar Planet Applause Starters. =P Someone should really start something like that.

Raise your right hand and repeat after me…
Lol, Hopefully we can get something going at the next big release!
Wall-E did get an applause for my group once we left. It was a fun group too.
No one really spoke during it so that was good.

yeah, in my screening I was the first one to clap at the end, and then EVERYONE clapped AND gave it a standing ovation!!!

Odd, no one gave a standing ovation after I saw it. ONly one or three people clapped. I guess maybe because it was really late.

lol my dad started to fall asleep lol but i guess its bc it was dark

I think my little siblings fell asleep too. I am not sure whether it was late or they didn’t like it.

my dads naturally sleepy and so am i but i stayed awake.

Oh, well good for you!

I could… Not… Miss… A frame. I just know it takes like 10 or more hours to render 1 frame, so I literally pry my eyes open to enjoy 100%, haha. But yeah, audience loved presto.

To think about tearing my eyes from the movie screen during Wall-E would be unthinkable. Its just too awesome.

^ That’s what I’m afraid of, trying to memorize that part when my mind is all fuzzed by the emotions. :stuck_out_tongue:

-EIA-

Well you’ll be able to play it in your head in 2 years’ time! 700 times, woo!

The crowd well, just left.

Just left? Wow, I was there at a 10pm showing and there was a ton of people that were between 16-30…
Lol, its funny how somethings in life bring out the child and hope in each of us

i went to a 6:30 pm showing and it was a fairly full theater for june 28 :stuck_out_tongue: i know what i did on june 28 2008 at 6:30pm at night exactly lol!
