little-chef, argh, how frustrating- I know exactly how you feel. There is no more of a sinking feeling than being swamped with chores. =( It seems like parents always tell you “YOU HAD ALL DAY!” when they come home and something isn’t done. I’m like, relax, I wasn’t putting it off- there are still hours left in the day. 
Doesn’t seem like they get it, though.
I’m sorry to hear of your situations, leirin and mopar5. I’ll be praying for y’all tonight.
little_chef - Wow, that must be frustrating. Hope things get better and your ma takes things easy. I’m sure she’s just being a neat freak, but deep down, you know she loves you. Fique tranquilo, shakka-shakka, and hakuna matata!
Current Mood: It’s 4 in the morning, and I can’t sleep. I’ve wasted the night watching ‘Game Over’ videos on Youtube. Urgh… and I’ve got a couple of assignments due this week and next… homework never ends.
On a lighter note, I might be making a trip to Canberra with my uni society, and I’ll see if I can make time to watch The Sorcerer’s Apprentice in theatres with one of my movie vouchers.
I hope things improve for you both, mopar and Leirin. Sounds like you’re really going through some tough times, but we’re always here for you if you need anything at all.
Mood: Confused but amazed and excited.
Reasons: Well, just returned from Bestival. Had an amazing time. Highlights include Rolf Harris, Mr. Motivator and The Prodigy. We also broke a few world records whilst there, one of which was for the most people in fancy dress costumes in the same place- must’ve been around 35,000 of us! Despite not bathing or washing for five days, and despite getting hardly any sleep, it was incredible.
I’m now packing to leave home and go to university this Saturday. I just can’t believe it’s so soon. Six months of waiting, and waiting, and waiting…and here it is!
I’m glad to hear that it was a blast lizardgirl, sounds like an awesome way to end the summer break!
Mood: Excited!
Reason: I haven’t had the greatest of weeks. But today I got my check in the mail from the FFA/4-H Market Beef Carcass Contest (where a USDA butcher judges the meat quality, marbeling, and yield grade of our steer’s carcasses)
One of my steers got 7th place out of 73 steers. So I got a ribbon, and today recieved a $110 check! So that is a good way to start the day.

Well, my mom owns a cattery, basically she breeds cats and shows them off professionally as a hobby. She recently got a new cat who’s a first time mom and the kittens have been dying away quickly. Their mom wouldn’t take care of them. She wouldn’t keep them warm or make milk or anything. Only one last little boy left that we think is doin’ alright, and just about an hour ago Mom found out he had died. 
Been a bad week overall. Brother having seizures, and grandma in the hospital. I want it to be over already.
Ew… incredibly stinky, that is!

Okay, so I’m procrastinating once again, when I’ve got an essay due Friday which I haven’t even started. But I’m excited to try this new time-management exercise called the ‘Pomodoro Technique’. The irony is, I’ll be starting it in half an hour after I answered a few posts and pressing school emails. Wish me luck, my posse!
TDIT: That sounds like a really good time management tool… I should try it sometime, maybe it’ll help me improve on getting things finished and help me work on my procrastination a bit.
Leirin: Oh my word, I’m so sorry you’ve been having such a horrible week. I hate it when absolutely everything goes wrong in your life… and those poor kittens! Definitely will be in my prayers too, hun. hugs

Mood: Tired
After all my eighteen years of being on this earth, my parents still haven’t discovered that I’m not a morning person and get mad at me when I’m not responsive in the morning. 
I have to take my brother to his orthodontist appointment in a couple hours. Ughh. It’s so boring having to take him places. We have nothing in common and can’t start a conversation for crap. Awkward. I usually try to drag along my littlest brother to keep the other entertained, but he never wants to come cuz he’s a butthead sometimes.
Whether I like it or not, homework is getting worked on today. It has to, otherwise I’ll have to do it ALL tomorrow right before school. And that’s always frustrating and stressful. If I have to shut the computer off today while I work, I will, because I always find myself wandering back onto Facebook or PP or dA.
Hopefully, here’s to a productive day. I just have to wake up and I’ll be all set.

Thanks for keeping me in your thoughts guys. Luckily optimism kicked in that night and it didn’t seem so bad anymore.
Leirin: I’m very sad to hear about the kittens, I am obsessed with cats!
But I totally know that helpless feelign when working with animals. I’ve raised livestock for years and shown them in FFA livestock shows. Kind of like what your mother does, only with cattle, sheep and swine.
Anyway, I’ve seen cases of first time mothers giving birth the calves, and somethings they don’t mean too but the suffacate the babies if they’re not positioned right. Once my dad had to pull out the calf because the mother was sitting on it, but it was dead anyway.
Mood: a bit bored and sick

So on top of having a fuzzy mind i Really want to write but i have like writers block or something == its so killing me… I cant write and since i’m sick i cant sing either and those are my two stress relevers DY ive been so bleh that i cant even play KH -- i just wanna go home and sleep buut when i do get home i dont want to sleep because i want to talk to my bf because hes been seeming down too -3- i don’t want to go home from school cause i hate missing days and i dont want to leave him here =_= aagghhh

I got 4 hours of sleep last night, thanks to my allergies. I gave up trying to fall asleep again at 6:00, so i grabbed a book and started reading. I don’t know why I didn’t do it earlier, as I dozed off during Chapter 3.
Right now I’m doing fine, I just had breakfast, and now I’m off to start my math!
Hope you both feel better soon, khstar and K9Girl. Allergies aren’t fun!

Reason: Seeing my best friends for the last time until Christmas tonight. It’s going to be strange not seeing them for so long.

Reason: Well, someone called the cops because last November my dad was drunk and tried to take advantage of me. Today my siblings and I were interviewed, and the government worker is trying to decide if we can go home, or…be seperated and adopted. Very bad day, and most likely week. Possibly life.
