little-chef: Yup, that’s what I do most the time. Except I don’t have an iPod, so I usually just carry the entire keyboard downstairs to my computer and headphones and listen to a YouTube uplaoad.
Leon K Fox: Wait! Where do you live?? I’ve been wanting to get the Dumbo re-release for ages, but it never came out over here!
Just adding to that piano conversation (yes, I’m late ). I learn my songs from YouTube tutorials Yay for those people who take their time to do that! I’d be so lost without them
Mood: Excited!!
Reason: It’s my b-day, so I went to the mall with my mom today and got to get some stuff. I got a Mickey Mouse sweatshirt, and pre-ordered TS3 on DVD/Blu-ray combo pack. Even though we don’t have a Blu-ray player, we figure we’ll get one “eventually.” I can’t wait for November 2. And I’ve decided that next year I’m getting a job at the Disney Store
Really? Oh, I looove sleeping in. I only ever sleep til 10-ish as my “sleeping in.” I know some people that sleep til noon or later. Now, that I couldn’t stand
Sweet, let me know what you think. I highly recommend reading the books first (though, really, the movie should by right be able to stand on its own merits…), but even if you can’t tell who owl is hoo, just let the gobsmacking visuals wash over you.
Haha… is niiice… hiiigh-fiiive…
I used to learn chords (I went to Grade 7), but sadly that knowledge has been crowded out of my head to learn about calculus and how to triangulate the cranial volume of a secondary-school student with no life (ie I had to give up piano to study for my high-school leaving certificate).
Mood: Relieved but anxious
One assignment down, four more to go. I have a massive essay I need to get started on, but I think I’ll take a breather first.
Haha, I had the same thing with How To Train Your Dragon when I first heard about it!
I still have to see it too, which bothers me. Can’t seem to find the time, also I have to cycle 2 hours for 1,5 hour of cinema, not to mention the insane price of popcorn and drinks…
And I don’t want to see it online either because the visuals are one of the very strong aspects of this movie.
How to Train your Dragon had books as well?! I mean I didn’t think the film was very good, but I’d still like to check out the books sometime now that I know they exist.
Also, why not just sneak your own food in? it’s what I do
Reason: I just set up a site for fans of HtTYD to RP (role-play) and it’s slowly taking off. We’ve got 10 members so far in 2 days, and we’re coming up with some great ideas for a couple stories. Only problem is, I have a ton of homework to do that’s due tomorrow, and I haven’t even started on it! I’m getting together with a friend at 3:30 this afternoon to talk college, and if I get my homework done now I’ll have plenty of time left this afternoon for my creative endeavors.
I have such a hard time prioritizing my time. x____x

Oh, if you love ‘realist anthropomorphic’ fiction like Watership Down, Animals of Farthing Wood or say, Fox & The Hound, you’ll love this one. Well, it is set in an alternate reality, and they have their own culture and wage wars on each other and stuff, but they don’t wear clothes or talk to humans or anything (hence, ‘realist anthropomorphism’). The language is middle-school level, but the themes are universal and each book can be finished in one-two days, so it’s a light-read.
Trust me, 3D on the big screen is where this film’s at. Computer monitors don’t do this baby justice, it’s at least worth a matinee.
Laugh out loud, I used to do that all the time with my chums. God Bless ‘Hungry Jack’.
Oh you have no idea how much I’m suffering too. I have a stupid-*** essay due next week which I haven’t started, and I’m just dying to start drawing or do some fan sigs or something for HTTYD and LOTG’s release, but I can’t because I lose track of time when I do these things, and I like to have a clear head without commitments niggling at the back of my mind or I’ll start to feel guilty. So I compromise with mini-breaks like watching the idiot box and hanging out here, where I can at least multi-task and limit my time. I find I lack that self-control because I will be so absorbed in the creative task, be it drawing, or writing, or video-editing and I will get carried away. I can’t wait to the end of semester when all my deadlines will be over and I’m free to surrender to my passions without a worry in the world.
Current Mood: Annoyed and restless
