I spent my entire day updating my resume and CV to make it in time for a student reporter application to my university magazine (the one I’ve been writing reviews for like the ones I’ve posted in the Up and HTTYD thread). I really want to work there next year, seeing as I’ll be graduating and I need some work experience. The deadline says “5th of November”, which is today, so I fired off the first email. Then I realised I forgot the subject heading. So I sent off the second one, then checked back the job listing page only to find it was closed. At 7 pm. I know stores here close at 5, but I didn’t know they had to take it so literally with job applications too! Guess I’m partly to blame for not sending it earlier.
Mood: Happy (for once!)
Reason: Got twitter today! And I have free internet on my phone for a month, so I plan on using it wisely Now I can talk to fellow PP’ers even more!
And it’s Bonfire night! Not a lot of fireworks tonight though. That will be tomorrow as there will be lots of things going on cuz it’s Saturday. And we might have fireworks in our back yard!

Mood: Tired
Reason: Well, I’m tired most of the time. And tonight I shouldn’t be, I’m going to the theaters tonight with a friend. We’re going to see Megamind. I haven’t been jumping like a bean with excitment to see it, but I’m still looking forward to going out and having a few laughs.

Reason: Been shopping all day, feet hurting like crazy, and my sister kept on changing her mind about which stores she wanted to go in (which drove me insane). However I came out with some great clothes. Can’t wait to wear them to school on Monday
And of course cuz it’s bonfire weekend there has been plenty of fireworks around. Tonight my dad set some off in our back yard and we held sparklers. And it was FREEZING!

Reason: I really want to go out and get Toy Story 3. I was talking with my friend’s mom tonight. She said that she’s been to all the stores in town and they’re sold out, and Block Buster rented all the Toy Story 3s out. I’ll check to see if my school’s bookstore has it next week.
Reason: I thought there was gonna be a rommelmarkt (a kinda yard-sale something we have a lot here in Holland) but ends up it wasn’t. So I can’t do anything now.
I’m really annoyed because I love looking for junk nobody cares about D8<
Hmm… I personally prefer the Intuos range cos’ they’re more professional (I’ve got an Intuos3 PTZ 630, A5-size), but the Bamboo’s a fun entry-level if you’re new to tablets! And really, it’s what you do with it that counts, and seeing your traditional artwork, I can’t wait to see how your digital ones will look like!
Hey, wouldn’t that be… like… cannibalism in the Cars world? I should watch Tokyo Mater again, it’s my favourite Mater Toons short I’ve seen so far.

Current Mood: Tired but happy
Ran a few errands in the city, then paid a visit to a friend I haven’t seen in awhile, and I got a neat copy of his thesis that I helped him out with (It’s packaged like a coffee table book).
Well, the internet is finally up and running on my computer again, after a week-long tussle with Time Warner. I’m kinda sad though as my sister is getting stressed and angry about having to perform at our church tonight. And my kitty totally fell down our whole staircase (she was sleeping on the halfwall!) She seems to be ok, but wow, that must not have been a pleasant awakening…
Reason: My best friend is coming with me to Youth Group tonight, she’s interested in joining and going to our next Mission Trip. Also tonight we’re discussing our trip next year, I’m going to suggest Vancouver or Philadelphia. We’re done with being South since the last two have been Texas and New Orleans.
NO. WAY. I’m in Philly!!! No way no way no way! Sorry, I just got too excited for that. But like, you’d be near where I live! (Well, I’m in suburbia, but whatever, close enough ). I just got wayyy too excited But seriously, that would be really cool
