Current Mood: Annoyed…slightly, anyway.
Reason: Y’know, it’s funny, I make a comment stating ONE problem I had with Toy Story 3 on a video of the furnance scene, and this troll gets really rude and downright childish just because of it. It amazes me how badly some people take other people’s opinions, then try to make out that YOU’RE the one who’s upset somehow.
Mood: Upset and frustrated, with a bit of disappointment on the side
Reason: Colleges are dumb.
Seriously, the college I applied to won’t accept me because I don’t have a ‘state-issued’ diploma, and I’ve been told by someone who knows the homeschooling process (she specializes in it), and she told me that the state can’t issue homeschoolers diplomas… it’s up to the parents, and I already HAVE a diploma from my parents. I sent a COPY of that same diploma with all my transcripts!! I got a call from the college today telling me that my diploma wasn’t adequate and that I had to take a GED test, which I don’t need to at all.
Now my parents and I have to set up an appointment to go in and talk with them about all of this, and we’re all armed with information now about it… but if they give us a hard time, then I’m going to have to find another college, which I REALLY don’t want to do!
It’s so discriminatory, letting kids from public high school in so easily and I have to jump through hoops JUST because I was homeschooled. It shouldn’t be ANY different. I completed all high-school requirements, JUST like any other public high school student, I’ve got a letter from the state SAYING that I did indeed graduate, JUST like any other public high school student… unrrrghghhh GOD I’m so mad right now!

little_chef: I’m so upset that happened to you! I have a problem with how colleges accept people too. If someone is from a private school, they have a higher priority, and colleges perfer to accept them than someone from a public school, or homeschooled.
That is totally unfair, just because my family can’t afford to send me to private school, shouldn’t put me lower on the list. And just because someone is homeschooled, shouldn’t put them lower on the list than public or privited schooled students.
I’m sorry this is happening to you!

Mood: A bit on the irate side
Reason: I’ve been trying to access my HtTYD role-playing forum all morning, and it keeps telling me that “the server where the page is located isn’t responding.” Yet, it lets me log onto every other site I visit with no problem… like Facebook, dA, and here. But not my RP site! I tried to access my Admin controls, but that won’t load, either… I don’t know what’s going on with it, and it’s making me kind of worried and angry because I can’t get in and see what’s going on! 8C

I’m still shattered, but today, with the Cars 2 trailer (and the reveal of Michael Caine’s voice), I’m feeling a little happy for the first time since her departure.
At least it’s something we can both enjoy and comment from our different locations.
Mood: Burned out
Reason: You know that feeling after you do like, 3 hours of homework (or any work you don’t like for that matter) and you don’t really wanna do anything? yeah, that’s me right now. i have this big project for US government due on Friday and I did half of the whole thing today, which was hard since I loaned my notes to a friend who seems to have forgotten he had them 
anyways, I’ll be really happy once this week is over so I can go on break next week.
I’ve also been noticing that I’m not really as active of a member around here as I used to be. I think it’d due to being busy with other stuff, too lazy to post, or simply loss of interest.
And I know that this particular part is way overdue, but I remember feeling a bit depressed two or so weeks ago and I just wanted to say thanks to mopar5 and ellie-jessie-eve for the kind words
I am so glad to hear from you mo, I’m sad that we haven’t had a good chat in a while, I’ve been quite busy! I hope to see you around much more, and that things get brighter for you!

Reason: Just heard about an Epic Mickey Collector’s Edition…Looks like it’s US Exclusive though. Yay for the UK getting the short end of the stick again. Not much unlike the Little Big Planet 2 Collector’s Edition, though I can at least IMPORT that as the PS3 is region free unlike the Wii. ¬_¬
I hate region lockups, Leon K! Sorry to hear that. Reminds me of us having to go through the whole “tray force” setup to get our Playstation 2 to play imported games…
