Reason: Well, I had my A-level results yesterday…Never felt so nervous in my life. It’s been so long since the exams that I could hardly remember how they’d gone, though I knew that I’d mucked up most, if not all, of my Latin exams and so therefore expected a C or a D in that. I was perhaps a little more confident in maths and expected probably a B, and I thought I’d ruined my last Psychology exam and expected a B in that as well, so to actually get ABB in Psychology, Latin and Maths respectively was just…Wow. Can’t describe how over the moon I am. This means that I can apply to a good range of respectible universities with a chance of getting in.
So, feeling a lot better about the year ahead now! My friends and I celebrated last night (as they all did very well, too!) by going to a club which was holding a Results Party, so that was pretty cool, especially as there were about 1,000 other very happy students there. An amazing night.

Reason: FINALLY got the Art of Up! It’s a fantastic book, there’s some really amazing, strange, and unique artwork in there. I also managed to pick up the Pixarpedia, even though I thought it wasn’t supposed to come out until next week! It’s really awesome, there’s a boatload of information in it.
By the way, in the Pixarpedia, no A113 in Monsters, Inc. and no Pizza Planet truck in The Incredibles. It never says they’re NOT in the movies, but it shows them in the rest, so I’m thinking that they’re completely absent.
Anyway, I’m eager to get the movie gathering together today, hope a bunch show up! I’ve had a pretty nice day so far, but I still really need to work on Dug.

Reason: Been hanging out with friends who I haven’t seen since last semester. It’s been fun catching up. Classes start tomorrow, but I don’t have a Monday class so I start on Tuesday. I really can’t wait to start, especially since I have two animation classes this semester!

Reason: I’ve worked a long day today and will be doing so for most of the next two weeks. As kids go back to school in the second week of September, all their parents are bringing them along to buy shoes now so we’re packed most of the time. But at least I’m earing loads of money!

Reason: I took a 20 miles bike ride with a friend. It was really nice especially since we went around a few lakes, but now I’m tired and my legs feel like Jell-O! Oh, and we stopped for ice cream about 3/4 of the way through our ride. Raspberry chocolate chip ice cream is really good!
