Current Mood

Mood: frustrated

Reason: Trying in vain to find an interesting enough game to mod.

Mood: Exhausted

Reason: I had a long week, and I have a speech to give tommorrow, and I haven’t practised very hard.

Mood: Happy

I finally watched Rio, and I have a deep desire to see it again. Que saudade! <3

On another note, I watched Defendor at my mate’s house after returning from the cinemas, and I thought it was a better superhero spoof than Kick-*ss! And the protagonist bears a remarkable resemblance to Mr Incredible!

Nice to hear you say some movies you liked, TDIT. I wish I felt the same. :frowning:

Mood: tense and anxious

Reason: I erased all the data on my iPhone trying to make it have reception like it’s supposed to in this area. Now I risk my father blaming me not only for erasing the data, but also for, supposedly, making sure I couldn’t get reception so that I could seem justified to do that. :frowning:

You lucky duck! I’m counting down the hours until I can see it again, with my friends on my birthday!

Mood: RELIEVED

Reason: I just gave a speech for my Speech class. And it’s basically weekend for me! I know, it’s Wends. But tommorrow I have one class which is so easy it’s a joke and it’s not til 3, and I never have class on Friday.

mood: stressed
reason: I keep procrastinating, and I’m trying to stop!

TDIT, this Defendor? I don’t think Woody Harrelson looks like Mr. Incredible. I mean, I’m not arguing, but I really don’t see the resemblance.

Mood: Pumped up

Reason: I have a theatre exam where I have to perform a scene. I always get excited to perform. I hope I and my partner do our best tomorrow.

Good luck!

Mood: Happy!

Reason: I’ve never been this free. I’m in college, I have a car and license, and I get the house to myself, and having a great birthday party, and I’m going to on a day trip to San Francisco on Sunday!

Thanks, and I hope you will feel the same way down the road. Good times may not last forever, but neither do the bad ones. Everything is impermanent.

Haha, the word ‘duck’ actually gets mentioned in this movie! How many friends will be joining you? I was supposed to have two of my besties, and I thought one wouldn’t show up in time, but he did, and the other one bailed on me due to ‘fatigue’. :unamused:

If you liked ‘The King’s Speech’, this is in a similar vein (of course, with an additional romantic element). Oh, and without giving too much away, there’s one moment during the climax that is extremely moving and powerful, and which reminded me of another scene from a Pixar movie. You’ll know it when you see it.

Of course you’re not arguing, IV! You’re stating your opinion!
Well, I myself think he looks like Bob, but yeah, you gotta watch the movie (there are some swear words, though). Some of his mannerisms and ‘superhero lines’ reminded me of Bob in his Mr Incredible persona.

I hope you get a dramatic scene that involves a lot of shouting and sweeping things off the table! :stuck_out_tongue: Or maybe a weepy. Let us know how it went.

Current Mood: Kinda glad but annoyed

I’m looking forward to doing some Rio and Fast Five fanwork, but I’ve got to take some pictures for an event I’m organising, and I’ve got a buttload of assignments to rush for next week. Ugh, I can’t wait for Easter Break. :unamused:

Well, at this point 4 friends are, maybe 6! But that’s not as large a number as when we saw The Princess and the Frog. Same with Toy Story 3. We took up an entire row on opening night!

And, great I can’t wait. I love The King’s Speech, I can’t wait to tell you what I think of the movie!

And you folk in Australia still call it “Easter Break”?

EJE: I thin kthe correct term would be “break a leg”.

TDIT: Ah, okay. My parents are finally letting me watch more mature movies, so I might be able to rent it. I see what you mean about the personality, I just see very little physical resemblance.

Mood: pretty good

Reason: Well, I’ve finally jump started my paper, and I’m about to watch Tron: Legacy

Mood: Busy.

Reason: Doing work for English class, and I’m also planning to scrap some story ideas from last year and remake them, 'cause I was getting nowhere with them (this does not include the fanfic I’m currently posting up here).

Quite cool, man. Quite cool!

Well, yeah, do Yanks get a one-week school break in April? What do you guys call it then?

Um, nope, I meant the one-week holiday we get here Down Under.

IV: Kinda curious to watch Legacy, but I wanna see the first Tron first.

JSWeC: Lookin’ forward to next installment of Star Vacation!

Current Mood: Okay

I had a great pre-lunch with a classmate and friend. It was on the pretext of an interview for an assignment, but we ended up talking about our own countries (she’s from China) where we want to go to after finishing our studies here. I also told her about my bullying experiences and we shared our school experiences and our plans for the future.

I’m killing the afternoon on this forum and maybe sending off a couple of request for interviews for the same assignment. And I’m also aiming to finish and fire off my ‘Rio’ review to my university magazine. Fingers crossed, they’ll publish it (as they did not send me an advance, and that this is a ‘spec’ job).

I have a society meeting to attend in the evening, and hopefully I can get some fanwork done this Friday night. The weekend is here… can you smeeellll… what the Rock is cookin’?

Mood: offended and jealous

Reason: I don’t have hard feelings for S 330, but I can’t help but notice how popular he and his music is on this forum after only being here for a week or two. Meanwhile, I’ve been here for nearly a year and a half, and I’m still being ignored by most on here unless I say something I regret later.

SgtY: I haven’t checked out his stuff, but as for you, I still go through and listen to your compositions. They’re very well done!

TDIT: Well, I have a week break in March, and I think it’s commonly known as Spring Break here in the states. And then we usually get Good Friday off, but our district made it a snow make-up day, so we’ll be at school on Good Friday. And GODFORBID we call it “Easter Break.” That would be enforcing Christian religion on non-Christians, y’know. (There was also a school in Seattle who tried to have “easter eggs” be called “spring spheres.” DON’T WANNA BE OFFENSIVE. -.-)

Mood: Excited/Nervous

I got a call back (finally) for a job interview with the district manager of the company! I’m so thrilled!.. and scared… :stuck_out_tongue: fingerscrossed I hope it goes extremely well!

Well, yeah, do Yanks get a one-week school break in April? What do you guys call it then?

Will I live, we call it “Spring Break” I kind alot of people do but not sure the whole country.

Well, I appreciate that you’re listening, thank you for that. I just want proof that others are.

TDIT, I would definitely recommend watching them both in the right order, like you said. I watched them a couple of days apart, and it was great. Just a warning, the first one’s not the best movie ever, but if you don’t take it too seriously, it’s easily very enjoyable. I hope you like both.

Mood: okay
Reason: It’s Friday. Now, if anyone plays that song, they will die.

Mood: Sick
Reason: I don’t feel well. I wonder if I caught cold.
