[b:gpl120w4]JustSoWall-eCrazy:[/b:gpl120w4] Ooh, cool… was it a Lego Star Wars video game or set?
[b:gpl120w4]Mood:[/b:gpl120w4] Exhausted.
[b:gpl120w4]Reason:[/b:gpl120w4] I walked about 10 miles today round trip to and from my library, but I was in a hurry and I’m a little out of shape. When I got home I ended up going to bed feeling sick with an awful headache because of the heat. And it was actually cool today… 95*. I did get to see a road get repainted though. That was fun.
Haha, well… no. I’m from Oklahoma. But it’s been averaging around 103* around here lately, and occasionally reaching 106*. And I was being a little ironic.
^ I was in Oklahoma last year in early May. It was about 103 degrees. Oh, boy, that was horrible. My dad couldn’t find a place to park, so my mom brother & I walked to our destination. Which took forever. I actually got sick later that day from heat exhaustion.
EDIT: Actually, it was late March.
Jeez that is hot! I think we’d all die here in Pennsylvania if it reached 106*. Usually for us hot is 95*, but it’s gotten to 100* lately. Tomorrow’s gonna be 88 though, thank goodness. I hope you’re feeling better Snipe!
I’m a bit sad. I had an excellent time during my trip to the island of Cozumel in Mexico. Even though its not winter some of the fish were amazing to look at while diving(Turtles and Yikes, 6 foot Barracuda) and Palancar is a beautiful, beautiful reef. It’s a shame we couldn’t stay longer, but oh well. In a week I’m off to Serbia to visit my Grandparents, which will be a bittersweet experience, since they’re getting fairly old and it saddens me to see them in such a state.
Mood:
Reason: I was all the way on one end of my house, on the computer, when all of a sudden, I hear my three year old nephew crying from the other end of my house, in my room. Needless to say, it scared the crap out of me (I thought someone had broken into the house!), and when I got back there, it took like five minutes before he would even say anything. He said that he was scared, and after another minute of talking to him, I started to leave my room when I hear him say “kissie”. So, I gave him a kiss, gave him my blanket (Don’t ask about the blanket, please don’t), walked out of my room, down the hall, and back into the computer room. Man, that was a mouth full…
Well there is a severe thunderstorm watch which could turn into a tornado warning at any time. I am and always have been terrified of a tornado happening in my area and killing me It does sound like it may be almost over cause the thunder is quieter.
A bit bummed, was gonna go to church, the rare chance in a lifetime we actually get to go in the morning, but it rained earlier so I got up late. I kept thinking I was up at, like, 6 AM, then realized it was just badly overcast. Gah.
