Reason: PIXAR PLANET IS BACK ONLINE! WHEEE!
Aww man, I’m so glad to be back here, I was seriously missing this place (and I’ve only been here since June! Still, you’re all like family here!) and I’m sooo happy to be able to get back. hugs everybuddy LOVE YOU ALL!
lol, yeah, I wasn’t having withdrawals like the last time this happened. This time was more of a slight inconvenience, but still, I’m really glad we can all chat again. returns hug
Mood: mixed
Mixed cuz well today at school, I realized that the people in my art classes (I attend an art high school) are sincerely intolerant of this one guy in our class who also has asperger syndrome. It’s kind of made me afraid of them, you know, like to speak to them. Cuz honestly, I don’t see what’s so bad about that guy, besides the fact that he acts like a younger version of Andy Bernard. But what’s sad is that he even told the class he had a mild form of autism, and still, today, he wanted to sit next to this one girl in front of me, and her friend quickly got up and implied she was sitting there, so he left looking kind of disappointed, and I overheard her say to her friend, “I just saved you.”
but in an attempt to find the positive part of the day,
ffdude1906, you may just be the luckiest guy in the world, not that luck was necessarily involved with your fame at Pixar lol, but I’m kind of blown away. you got an EMAIL from one of the Pixarians. and they’re twittering you! you have a right to be shaky cuz that’s purely Incredible
Mood: neutral, yet happy
Reason: PixarPlanet is back!!! Yaaay~!! I can finally catch up with everyone and stuff, and I start to miss this place and this atmosphere if I’m gone from it too long.
And I’m eating Fig Newtons… I don’t know why, but I love them so much…! Maybe 'cuz they remind me of my childhood…<3
little chef
Haha, thanks Roflcoptinator, I’m glad I could put a bit of in your day! And yes, it’s been quite a ride, (possibly still not over, I’m expecting a reply from Pete soon now)
As for those people in your class, I had a mild form of asperger, and I had to deal with a lot of junk in jr. high, and yeah, it’s tough. Jr. High was a really bad part of my life, I’d rather spare the gory details. Maybe you should talk to the guy, hang out with him, make him feel not so out of place? I’m sure he’d appreciate that, and it’d make you feel better too. (bah, sorry for weaving philosophical!) Just something to consider, being a bit of an outcast myself (I’m sure all of us here are to an extent) friends are incredibly valuable things. That’s really cool that you’re kind of feeling for him, shows you’re a caring person
Mood: relaxed.
Reason: I am listening to S Club 7, and bringing back memories.
Current Mood: Happy
Reason: Pixar Planet is back! Man, it stunk not being able to check this site whenever I was on the web. Also, weekend is about to start, NBC Comedy tonight, Cone wars tomorow, and looking forward to another 358/2 Days filled weekend.
Also, meant to post this earlier, but I couldn’t becasue the site was down. Got to spend a day and NYC, and actually see all the cool stuff for once. First time in Central Park, and first time at Rockefeller Plaza. Got to finally go to the Nintendo World store, which was pretty cool, but also kinda disappointing becasue they didn’t have the shirt’s I wanted in my size. Going to NBC was probably my favorite. y sister and I took our picture in fornt of the “30 Rockafeller Plaza” stone, but cut off most of it so it just said “30 Rock.” We wnt ot a buch of other cool places like the Disney store, too, but I’ll just leave it there.
TSS: Reach for the stars! Climb every mountain higher!..I am so very sad, that I remember that.
Current Mood: Happy , sad , and lazy
Reason: Well, I feel kinda sad because of some things that have been happening lately, but I really don’t want to talk about it. I’m in a good mood. I don’t want to bring myself down.
I feel a little lazy, because that’s how I am sometimes .
I’m really happy for a lot of reasons. I got to spend a few days with my aunt and uncle. So that was awesome ! We just went to the book store. I checked out (I mean looked at, not bought) a game guide to Sims, something I’d like to buy one day. My dad got me a lizard that sings and shakes it’s head and tail. For those of you that don’t know, lizards are my favorite animal . He’s so cute! I sat him on the bed next to my Henry the lizard. I know, this might sound corny and childish, but I named him before I even got him ! Freddy. I know, a little weird, but I wanted to give him a human name like Henry, and it sounded like something you’d call a lizard. Any way… the [b:27skx36x]biggest[/b:27skx36x] reasons I’m happy are that, number one, I got mt The Incredibles comics ! And they’re – dare I say it – INCREDIBLE! Also… [b:27skx36x]PIXAR PLANET IS BACK UP[/b:27skx36x] !!! Sorry for shouting. I was just shocked when I first found out. I probably would’ve had a heart attack if it wasn’t for a friend telling me it was just temporary. I’m glad I was with my family over the past few days (that’s why I was absent), at least I had somthing to do while the boards were down. How long was it out?
I’m also listening to some of my favorite music, so, yeah, I’m in a good mood all 'round . Thank God!
Violet Parr: I assume this is a toy lizard, since to my knowledge, live lizards don’t sing and dance?
DocKenobi: The NYC trip sounds like fun. I should go to the Big Apple one day…
TSS: There ain’t no party…
ffdude: I know how it feels like to be marginalised in school, but it was more of the ‘cliques’ and high-school culture thing. Most of my classmates were interested in dumb games like Bakugan (yes, even teenagers in high-school, can you believe it? ), and spoke Mandarin and dialect a lot, so I was sort of ‘left out’. I hanged out with comic-book artists/nerds in the library and club room during extra-curricular activities.
little_chef: Em… fig newtons. :mouth water: Haha, I don’t know what they taste like, but they sound cute!
Roflcoptinator: There’s an old adage: “Kids say the meanest things.” As adults we tend to be PC and more tolerant, but children in their innocence can be pretty cruel at times. But that’s no excuse to discriminate against the less fortunate. Like ffdude suggested, maybe you should be friends with him. If you friends tease you, just ignore them. Your real friends probably wouldn’t, anyway. And the next time that mean girl says anything about him, stick up and say “You got a problem with that?” Seriously, man…
…
Mood: Happy but nervous
I’m happy cos’ after a nailbiting three days of absence, Pixar Planet has returned! I’m also happy because I managed to clear a couple of tests and assignments.
I’m nervous because a series of ‘big ones’ are about to hit me: I have to finish a trailer script for a fiction TV pilot for screenwriting and while I’ve completed the first draft, it still needs a lot of work around the edges. And then there’s the massive group project (an entire 3-D animated short, with models, animation, post-production, etc.) that I’ve been staying back with my group mates almost every weekday night and on Saturdays to finish by the end of this month. And to top it all off, a marketing exam in mid-November (but I’m not so ‘scared’ by marketing so much, it’s the script and animated short film that are so time-consuming!).
And on the fandom side, I owe two people sigs and I desperately want to get started on a Halloween Pixar music video, but just can’t find the time.
I’ve got my work cut out for me, I may have to take a planned hiatus…
Mood: pretty awesome
Today… or technically yesterday, remember that other aspie at school?
Well AT FIRST it was pretty horrifying. Because today was the day that HE realized that people were intolerant of him, because he was lectured by the teacher not to be so “arrogant,” and the most heartbreaking thing happened, and everyone started clapping, except for me and his only friend. Me, his friend, and even teacher though that was wrong. And then he had a short meltdown from shouting two profanities after spilling a small box of pushpins all over the ground, which made people laugh at him.
He was pretty mad and visibly upset by this because he isolated himself and didn’t talk at all to anyone except to defend himself (but to no avail), and I felt awful, because I could sort of relate, but not only that, how the other people treated him was absolutely no way to treat anyone, especially someone like him.
So as class ended, I went up to him, when he was still pretty mad, and asked him if he was okay. He said no, so I told him not to let the others get to him, cuz he really didn’t deserve that. And I noticed he was feeling a little better.
And I was relieved too, I hated seeing that guy like that. And I’m starting to think differently of the classmates who laughed at him.
But I feel pretty happy now, I just made a new friend
And actually it’s kind of a coincidence. I didn’t see your guys’ replies cuz I was
busy the day I made my last post, lol sorry. But I didn’t even see it yet I did what
was suggested and got the expected outcome… But thx for the replies tho still
also…
thxx
oh. and also, I think it was thedriveintheater. I couldn’t stand up to them directly, at least not now, because some of them were my friends, but then I told them that they should go easy on him, and they understood, because a few of them actually felt kinda bad about it afterwards. but yeah, I should relly talk to the ones who laughed and felt no remorse
High five, Violet Parr! Lizards are awesome indeed. Glad to hear that you got your The Incredibles comics! I recently got the Monsters, Inc. comics and on the back pages there are some pictures of the The Incredibles ones and they do look very good.
Good for you for making your friend feel better, Roflcoptinator. Sounds like he really needed someone then, so well done for standing by him.
Haha, that’s not a bad compromise at all, Phileas!
Mood: Average
Reason: Nothing special has been happening…Nothing bad either. So I can’t complain.
Mood: Sad
I feel like I’ve just been stabbed in the chest.
A teacher tried to tell me that a small, student-made short looked like the one from Wall-E when infact the birds were designed after the birds in For The Birds.
D:
I cringed soo bad
Mood: Happy
Reason: No reason, I just feel happy.
Mood: Extremely happy!
I just found out that I will get to skip school to go to Ridley Pearson’s book signing! ( He’s the author of the Kingdom Keepers, a series of books that take place in the Disney parks )
Mood: A bit put out, and hungry
Reason: Early this morning (or yesterday, I don’t remember ) I put up a link to my newest colored piece of fanart over at my art thread and have gotten no replies. Not that it matters; it’s just I usually get a quicker response. Same thing with my fanfic - I wrote up a new part for those readers who have been biting their nails for the continuation, and nothing yet. I mean, I know they’ll reply eventually, but I just feel like they missed it or something 'cuz they can’t see my thread highlighted on the front page.
Hungry because I know we have ice cream in the freezer, and I want some for a snack.
little chef
Mood: Annoyed
Reason: My computer must hate me today. First: it restarts randomly on me to do updates. Second: It logs me out of Yahoo! Messenger while I’m in the middle of talking to my friend in the UK. Third: The Internet goes haywire, and I gotta go restart it. Oh well, it seems to not be torturing me anymore. Thank God.
Mood: Happy (again)
Reason: I had a blast beating my siblings in a video game and bonding with them.
Mood: Happy
Reason: My computer is done hating me, and I found some sweet Hudson Hornet videos! I saw them racing (one race was in my state!), and I saw some old ads from after the Hudson/Nash merger (they had Disney cartoons on them, like Donald Duck, Dumbo, Alice in Wonderland, and Pinoccio! ) It was so cool! I mean, they were all in black and white, so it felt completely authentic! It definately made up for all the mean things the computer did to me today.
He he ! You sound like me!
TDIT- Yes, it’s a toy . Maybe I should’ve clarified that.
Phileas- Oh man! That bites. Sorry, buddy. At least you get to go to Tokyo Disney, though .
lizardgirl- Thanks ! Yeah, lizards are awesome. And The Incredibles comics are great ! If you’re interested, you should check them out sometime. Are the Monsters Inc. comics good?
