Violet Parr- They’re pretty good! Though when you read a comic based on a movie and one of the characters is continuously drawn with the incorrect number of fingers on each hand, it’s difficult not to question whether or not they’ve actually watched the movie before.

Reason: I’ve arranged to stay overnight with a friend at her university. I can’t wait to visit her and see what it’s like there!
Plus, I’m starting to prepare for my trip to Thailand…I’m still quite nervous, but I’m definitely getting excited now.

Happy: Got the new Uncharted 2: Among Thieves, Really good game, can see why Simon-Simon has been raving about it! Now watching an awesome episode of Michael McIntyre’s Comedy Roadshow (Swansea for anyone in the UK who has seen this series, and for those who want to watch it in general!) And in 2 days I’ve been asked to attend 2 interviews! for the same company… but for different stores!
Dismayed… the episode of McIntyre’s Comedy Roadshow has been cut and edited so much I’m missing my favourite jokes… Ciabatta being the Wookie that drives the Millennium Falcon being the one that creases me each and every time)
Reason: Well, I had a good day today. Got to Rollerblading with my mom. And we haven’t done that in forever, so it was great to get back out .
I’m a little worried for one of my geckos, Blaster. She threw up today after we fed them, and it’s the second time it’s happened. So I’m really scared . Because one of my other geckos, Wade, died the same way. She’s my little girl. I don’t want anything to happen to her. I’m just praying she’ll be alright.
Reason: Been in line for (only) 2 art schools at Portfolio Day today at KCAI (Kansas City Art Institute), got to look at Ringling and CalArts, got some great input about my work, got some good direction, but I might be set back a year in my quest to get into an art school, I’m simply entering in the game too late. Hopefully some spring classes and more time will help me develop a lot more and get a good portfolio together. It also put into perspective how much I need to branch off with my work, since I’ve been doing 99% fanart, I need to work on original stuff, draw from life, get creative, and just develop my technique and expand. I’m getting pretty excited about it, but it’s a bit of a shame that I’m probably gonna have to put art school on hold. Not surprised though, not in a good spot for it financially at the moment, and it was a bit of a sudden change.
On the other hand, the wise and powerful Phileas got the Up theme for Pixar Planet up and running! Looks fantastic, bravo my friend! Now I’m just wondering when the rehaul of the entire board will happen, (and wondering if all the themes are getting upgrades, I’d love to see that!) Needless to say, however long it takes, I’m very anxious to see the end result! Good luck buddy!

That’s awesome!!! Great for you, woody. I love Kingdom Keepers so far from what I’ve read, and I I also read some of his books about Neverland and I must say he’s one of my favorite authors now. Before I didn’t think it was possible for anyone to not only write but officially publish new fiction books based off Disney, and so brilliantly in storywriting, too. You are so lucky that you get to skip school for that!!!
Roflcoptinator: I just read your past posts on the student so many people were avoiding and ridiculing, and I must say you’re a really good person to go to him and make him feel better. Caring friends like you are strong people because they aren’t afraid to stand up for someone or go to them when no one else will. I’ll bet that you made a difference in his life. You are a super this way.
Roflcoptinator- I love Myst! I recently bought it for my iPod Touch and it transfers really well onto a touch screen device. It is very difficult though, you’re right. Luckily I kept my walkthrough book for all those years.
Captain Pan- I’m saving up for Uncharted 2, but I’m pleased to hear that you’re enjoying it. It’s had so many rave reviews, I’ve got to have it! And Michael McIntyre is awesome.

ffdude1906- Delays can be annoying, but as you said yourself it’ll give you time to develop and improve and will give you a better shot when you do go to art school. I had to do the exact same thing, going on a gap year when ideally I’d like to have been off at university, but now I realise it’s given me a chance to make my application even better. So I’m sure it’ll all work out for the better in the end.

I just came back from my mall where I got a new Toy Story T-shirt from the Disney Store! . After my dad and I went to Giant where we found a log that burns in different colors! I really want to try it out! My cousins are also coming over next weekend, which is good because I have something to look forward during the week! I also just found out there’s going to be an ongoingToy Story comic! I’m so excited!

Reason: Yesterday I completely finished my essay for Bible school (haha, me and TSS decided to finish our essays in one shot at the same time! ), and I feel so much better now that it’s out of the way until Thursday. I’m pretty confident I’ll pass the class!
