Current Mood

Current Mood: Very good, relieved, excited, content, clean, etc.

Reason: I’m just doing really good. I’m getting a lot of stuff out of my way, little by little. I’ve finally decided to do somthing one of my devotionals suggested: reading my Bible all the way through before I turn eighteen. It was just a couple days ago, I was thinking about it and I realized I only have a few years left, so I better do it. So far, I’m still in Genesis, coming to the part about Joseph and his “Coat of Many Colors.” I can’t wait to read a familiar Bible story :-D) . And it’s cool to read about his family and everything before that to get a better understanding of the story.

I also got a new drawing/fashion book today and it’s really helping me! I’ve finally decided to do one of the hardest things I’ve veer had to do takes deep breathdraw hands! And just hands! Watches as her art watchers collapse in astonishment. As you may know, I am not that good at drawing hands, in fact, I look for any excuse to hide the hands. But, I’ve finnaly worked up enough willingness to do it. But it’s kinda helping that I’m using a certain special superheroine as my model  . I’m also starting another, more serious, art binge. And it’s going pretty well so far  !

I also seemed to have missed some major action on the forums, but not the good kind of action. So I’m glad I wasn’t around for that. But I’m very sorry for those who were.

I’m also posting a bit more regularly, Thank God! I hope I’m being a better friend than I was before to you guys. I hate when I end up going back on my word.

I also got to watch NCIS, Who’s Line, and some AFV today  <img src=“{SMILIES_PATH}/grinandwink.gif” alt=“;-D” title="Grin and

Wink" /> . So I got some laughs.

I’m eagerly anticipating the new Incredibles comic that should be coming out this month. I haven’t heard anything of it yet (except a tip from TSS that it’s gonna be about Helen). So I’m really eager to see how it turns out!

And, if everything turns out well, we might be getting a puppy in the next couple months    ! As it turns out, there’s this lady that lives in out complex, and she breads Chirussells (Chihuahua/ Jack Russell Terrier mixes), and she says, if we can give it a good home, she’d give one to us for free! I’ve met the male, and he seems really nice. So we’ll see. I’m hoping and praying that it’ll work out.

And, also, if everything goes the way we’re planning, we’re gonna be going to Pennsylvania to visit our relatives  ! A lot of our family is up there, and so is Hershey’s Park, so it’ll be fun! And we might be going with my grandparents, which might make for a long car ride, but it’ll still be cool! Especially since Mom traded her old van and got a great deal on a new one and we’ve got a bit more room and a few more gadgets to play with, it might make it a little smoother. And we are probably going to stop at Washington D.C. on our way back. And it’ll be my first time there ever! So that’ll be AWESOME!!! I’ll get to be Sarah Vowell for the day  !

I feel clean because I just had a nice shower, and am wearing my favorite pajamas, and these soft, comfy socks my Mom got me. So I’m feeling pretty good  .

Lastly, I got the final piece of my Halloween costume! So, as usual, I’m way early, like almost seven months early! I’m going as Abby Sciuto from NCIS  ! Now all I have to do is convince my dad to go as Gibbs and my mom to go as Ziva

lizardgirl: I saw that on the news. I didn’t know they had volcanoes in Iceland! :open_mouth:

Violet Parr: Oh my gosh, I can’t wait! You’re gonna attempt one of the hardest human anatomical parts that has frustrated many an artist! I wish you the best of luck! Mine’s feet and eyes, by the way.

It’s great to learn to take care of pets. My family had a golden retriever once, we named him after the one in Homeward Bound (Look it up, it’s a very sweet name.). We gave him away when we moved to another country, and my siblings and I were so heartbroken. :frowning: I’ll miss those days being chased around the yard and taking cover on the ping-pong table from him.

I don’t get the Sarah Vowell reference (I know she voices Violet, but what does he have to do with Washington?). Anyway, have a great trip!

Oh, and NCIS FTW! Be sure to bring a cup of ‘Caf-Pow’!

Current Mood: Pretty pleased

We’re going to get an electronic keyboard! I’ve been badgering my parents to get my siblings and I one in Sydney, cos’ we had a grand piano back in Sing which we would play songs on- I’ve been trying out ‘Never Knew I Needed’ and ‘I See You’ to mixed results, but I’m good with a couple of James Bond themes. My sister always plays Bella’s Lullaby, and it annoys me to no end. My brother used to play a David Cook number which had the words ‘Baby’ in the lyrics a lot, but he’s got lazy lately. Anyway, my folks finally accompanied me to a music store in town and we spoke to a friendly old man who surprisingly knew Malay, and we got a pretty good deal. The keyboard (It’s Yamaha) should be delivered sometime next week.

Also, I’ve just finished reading the cracking Alex Rider novel ‘Crocodile Tears’ (I blazed through the last few chapters this afternoon) and am almost finished with an artpiece (I’ve posted a line-art preview on dA).

I’ve also got some ideas for HTTYD fan-art, another trailer dub, and an exciting new fanfic (which I know a few members here will very much enjoy).

thedriveintheatre- Yeah, crazy isn’t it? The flying ban has spread to several more countries around Europe now, and even into Russia…Apparently the ash from the volcano might even go right the way around the Earth! My mum’s having to cancel a holiday to Croatia that we were planning because, even though the holiday’s in a few months, there’s still a chance that the volcano will be errupting then and we don’t really fancy paying out for a holiday that isn’t going to happen. Cancelling earlier means we get most of our money back.

I feel for people stuck in other countries at the moment, though…A few friends at work know people who have been stuck for a while. The mother of a girl I know is in Tokyo and is due to have an operation in England on Monday- which isn’t going to be happening at this rate!

That’s cool that you’re getting an electronic keyboard, thedriveintheatre. Those things are great! Much more practical than a proper piano, anyway.

Violet Parr- That’s cool that you’re reading the Bible. I enjoyed reading it despite being atheist- it’s definitely a book that most people should read, and is rather inspiring.

Hope you have a good trip! Washington sounds like a really interesting place to visit.

Mood: Happy but disorganised.

Reasons: I’m happy because it’s nice to be back at work and feeling inspired to actually do stuff; I recently recieved the latest fountain pen in my collection and I love writing with it, so hopefully I might actually write some more, as well as doing some actual artwork.

But it’s coming to revising for exams time and I really can’t be bothered, in short. It’s just all so boring!

Mood: Sad

Reason: School tomorrow.

Same here.

Current mood: relaxed

Reason: Browsing around here, and watching Beethoven’s Big Break.

Mood: Confused, scared, frustrated, stressed, and general AHHH

Why? Ten more days to decide on my college, so obviously, now is the time for me to have a gazillion big assignments. I’m awake at 3 in the morning due to freaking out when I try to sleep. I hope I can get through these last days with my mind intact…

Mood: Fulfilled, determined, adventurous, productive, appreciative… wanting to explore new areas of art that I haven’t even touched yet. Also thoughtful and understanding… yeah I am really in a nice mood! (I’m amazed that I’m not disgruntled at having to go back to school…)

Why?: Because I actually got up off my butt and did productive things today (like not slacking off at school  ), I had an interesting discussion about houses and money with my parents and developed my own opinion on it, and my dad and I had one of our “art talks” that occurs every now and then - we can really connect in that way and I love it - right now I just wanna create and discover, and really expand my horizons! I don’t feel so empty and pointless anymore!

Moods:

Excited! 14 days of high school left, and then its done!

Inspired: I heard a comic writer talk this weekend, and it inspired me to get back to drawing some of them.

Nervous: I had to drive through Chicago yesterday (with someone in the car) and I Still hate driving in the city! I don’t know how I’m ever going to survive, if I have to find my own way around a city like that…I really hate driving in large cities…

Sarah- Sounds like you’ve got a lot on at the moment! But just remember, it’s not forever. And I’m sure you’ll make the right decision when it comes to your college choice- as cheesy as it sounds, just follow your heart.

That’s a good collection of feelings, Pixel Candy! I love it when you feel like you can conquer the world.

Tell me about it, DPA113. Driving in cities is so stressful! I try to avoid it as much as possible.

Mood: A little worried.

Reason: Had a late night call from a friend yesterday, who sounded very distraught on the phone. She ended up staying round mine that night and we talked until the early hours of the morning. It’s amazing how sometimes someone’s life can be falling apart and the people around them don’t even notice- and I include myself in that, I was guilty of that too. I think she’s feeling a bit better now, though.

Mood: Bored

Reason: I just haven’t found anything interesting to do other than attempt to begin conversations with online friends.

Mood: Owww.

Reason: I went to the park with my little cousin today, and I just went on the swings, minding my own business, when some kids started running in between the swings. Well, one of them hit me and I fell off the swing when I was very high up. I fell right onto my side and my cheek is scratches & bruised, my hip, and I even got dirt in my mouth. It was so embarrassing and it hurt a lot. :shake:

thedriveintheatre- Hehe  ! Well, hopefully it will be done soon. The hands look good so far, so I think you’ll like them! And your Golden Retriever sounds like he was a great dog. I hope I can have a dog like that someday. Ah, Shadow! I love that move! That is a great name. Oh, and the Sarah Vowell joke, she’s a big history buff and there’s a lot of historical landmarks there (such as the memorial for her favorite president, Abraham Lincoln). Sorry for the confusion  . And, thanks! We’ll probably leave in July, so if I disappear, you know why  . But I think I’ll still give you guys some notice so you don’t think I just up and left. Oh, and I’ll be sure to get some “Caf-Pow,” (in my world: a cherry slushy), and I’ll even try to get Burt the hippo to tag along with me  (Just gotta find a stuffed hippo, put a goth collar on him, and shove a whoopie cushion in him  ). Thanks, TDIT! Oh! And enjoy your new keyboard! They are a lot of fun. My Mom has one, and she lets me use it sometimes, though I wish I actually knew how to play  !

lizardgirl- Yeah, it is an incredible book. And I’m glad you enjoyed reading it  ! At the rate I’m going, I think I should be done in a year, give or take some. I’m really enjoying it  .

Thanks! I hope it’ll go well. My parents say it’ll be really cool! Especially if I get to go to the art museum in the Smithsonian and the Lincoln Memorial!

Oh, and I hope your friend will feel better. I’m glad she was able to confide in you, though. It’s always better when you have someone to lean on. I hope things get better for her. And I hope you’ll be okay, too! I know how it feels to be all unorganised. It’s frustrating, but you’ll get through it! And enjoy your artwork!

Current Mood:Happy

I’m happy cause my mom is ordering a Blu-Ray player! Which is perfect cause Avatar comes out on Blu Ray on Thursday! WHOO HOOO!

Can’t wait!

Mood: Bored
Reason: I have nothing to do. I must look up something fun to do on Google, or I’ll go crazy. :open_mouth:

Mood: Impatiently Frustrated

Porque?: NCIS is a RERUN, again!!! 2 weeks in a row now! and both shows are reruns. Lame!!!

AND

My external harddrive has a major issue and needs repaired…too bad 170 GB worth of stuff will be destroyed along with that…so I’m borrowing everyones laptops and moving my files over, ever so slowly to every laptop in town so I can repair my HD…swell

Mood: Impatient!

Reason: I can’t wait any longer for TS3!! :shake:

You’re an NCIS fan? Me too! (Though you could probably tell from my siggy  .) Hope you get some new ones soon! Oh, and I hope you can get your computer fixed.

Current Mood: Great! And kinda pumped up!

Reason: Well, namely, I finnaly finished Genesis! I’m now in Leviticus and reading about Moses, another very familiar Bible character to me. I’m glad I’m doing something that’s helping me strengthen my faith in God, become wiser, and helping my reading ability. I’m kind of a slow reader, so it’s a bit of a challenge (especially since the Bible is like almost one thousand pages long!), but I’m enjoying it. Also, I was listening to a real pump-me-up song that I just recently discovered called “Fight For You” by Morgan Page. Thank God for song identification  ! I also had a really good school day, got pretty much everything I need to get done done. Now I just have my personal projects…

I also talked to Papa (my grandfather), on the walkie-talkie he got for us to share, and he reminded me… summer vacation is on its way  !!! And so are a lot of other good things for me, so I’ve got a lot to look forward to  !

Mood: Kinda mad
Reason: Something I read in my mom’s vet magazine that said something very negative about skunks. :imp:

^ Aw, I’m sorry. I know how you feel - I can’t start a conversation to somebody about skunks without them mentioning that ‘they stink’.
They don’t smell any more than dogs or cats!!!1 believe me, I saw one IRL once; a pet one. He was really cute and definitely NOT smelly.

CURRENT MOOD: cheerful

REASON: beta Banjo-Kazooie music~~~~

Violet Parr Totally LOVE NCIS! Abby’s my favorite on the main show, and Kenzie (Sp) is my favorite on the new show. I like the original best though

mood: excited. graduation, Florida, and Disney world are all coming so soon! about 3 weeks and I’ll be in the Sunshine state…it’ll be hard to come back after that I think. I do love the ocean so much…
