Mood-Freaked and bummed out.
Bummed out because my family doesn’t seem keen on being patriotic on America’s Independence Day. Also, I’m watching some parts of the play “Equus”, think I’ll go rent the film today, looks interesting.
Mood: tired and optimistic
I’m tired because I’m a teenager and I’m always tired. My mom says thats normal, so I’m not too worried. I’m optimistic because I just got back from the Fourth of July celebration with my family. It was totally awsome, and we just got my family to leave. 
Current Mood: TIRED, a tad stressed, anxious, and a bit bummed.
Reason: Work, oh my gosh work. So I went in at 5 today, and everyone there is under the impression that since the town’s fireworks show was the previous night (closed that night, stressful stuff) that everyone would be out really late or out of town. This hypothesis held water til about 9:45. There was a storm moving in (and a big one) and so everyone in town decides “Oh, lets go to Sonic!”. At this point, all but me, another closing carhop, a manager, and 2 cooks are on the clock, everyone else was sent home due to high labor %.
Not the worst shift I’ve worked, but dang close.
There was a point during the rush that 20 stalls were waiting to be talked to on the switchboard (basically, 20 people pushed that big red button, and we hadn’t talked to them yet). Absolute madness. It’s not so bad with rushes like that, where there isn’t much you can do to make things better. All you can do is take the orders out, and hope that they understand how busy you are, and most people were pretty understanding tonight, thank goodness.
After that, it was about midnight, closing started in an hour, and the store was in a MESS. Thankfully business was slow after that. It took a lot less time to close than I expected.
Anxious, because I got to talk to my awesome brother today. We’ve been more or less planning to go to Holiday World sometime this summer, but haven’t made official plans. I finally got a general date set, and it’s really exciting to think I might get to see my brother next month. I miss him SO much. There’s also the slim possibility that I’ll get to go to California in November. If that ever happens, I’m gonna freak out.
As for bummed, it’s mostly because I had to spend my 4th working a super stressful shift, no fireworks this year. :\
Current Mood: Drowsy, happy, confused
Reason: Not much sleep last night, work was nuts! I’m happy cuz I just got finished watching Monsters Inc with my mom. Such a wonderful movie. 
What’s up with the board today? It’s so dead here! There haven’t been any posts since about midnight last night, crazy! Also, I haven’t seen Dragon around. He didn’t actually leave did he? 
Sorry you had to spend your fourth of July working, ffdue1906. At least you made some money.
Current Mood: Relaxed and content, but a bit anxious
Reason: I have a nice laid back Sunday planned for today. Maybe even a bike ride through the zoo. I went to church this morning and saw a former coach whom I haven’t seen in a couple years. She now has two adorable little girls. It was great seeing her again.
There’s a bee’s nest above our front door. My dad is taking the hose to the hive to get rid of it. Hopefully he doesn’t get stung!
Mood: Relieved
Reason: For some unknown reason, I have this feeling that a monkey was taken off of my back (figuratively speaking)

Reason: it is 100 degrees outside and I just walked my puppy on the longest walk of his life.
Current Mood: Pretty happy, but a bit shocked
Reason: Back from another screening, only 1 other person with me this time :\ Hannamation’s helping me out with my art, which is totally awesome (thanks again!) and I’m still possibly gonna get that Up poster (still a longshot) and I’m gonna start saving for the LE 300 Grape Soda Pin.
Shocked due to the tragic incident at Disney, things like that are always really sad. I hope the family is doing ok.

Mood: happy out of my mind!!!
Reason: My tablet finally came in today, and I just completed my first fully-finished drawing on it!!! It came out nicer than I thought it would have; seeing it’s only the first time I’ve used the thing!!! Definitely different to get used to, but I think I’m getting it!!!

My first completed piece is something I can’t neccessarily submit without permission from the artist who made up the OC my character is based on - if that makes sense.

Current Mood: Pretty good, but annoyed
Reason: Life’s been great to me lately. I found out I might be in my local paper because of my amazing 25th trip to see Up, and I’m probably gonna send my letter to Pete in a couple of days. I just need to find a copy of the article to send to him, pretty amazing. Also, Simon-Simon and I have been talking a lot, and got to watch The Incredibles and Ratatouille, and I might start hosting some movie nights for the wonderful people here, so that’s good!
I’m annoyed, because Flare’s still gone, and no one’s bothered to post in this topic. Seems like they’ve abandoned any sort of trace of him. Kind of sad actually, I for one miss the angry little guy. Yeah, he’s a bit harsh, but he still loved to talk about movies and offered, as Ego would say, some perspective. Maybe not one everyone agreed with, but I always enjoy reading unique opinions. Not trying to cause any unrest, but I think it’s a bit upsetting how no one has mentioned him lately. I miss ya buddy.
Perhaps you should post up a “Where’s Flare” topic in Member’s Inc. That’s what they did for WBoon. I don’t think anyone has ignored him intentionally, I stopped posting here because I didn’t see it on the “view posts made since your last visit” area. Also, congrats on the newspaper ffdude! Hope you make it!

Yeah, I don’t think it was intentional, it’s just no one’s mentioned him since his disappearance, it’s a bit of a shame. Kinda just proved his point during his rant, so it makes it that much worse. I just hope he pokes his head back in here a few times. As for your reason for not posting here, I more or less post the same way, so really only hot topics get my attention. I need to kinda fall out of doing that. There’s other great topics out there.
Reason: Nothing terribly amazing to report lately, but I’m doing ok, watching Ratatouille again today in a bit, a friend didnt finish it during my marathon.
Really? If you don’t mind me being curious, what were you discussing with her? You don’t have to quote her; I’m just wondering what your talk with her was like…
Current Mood: Content, trying to be patient, bored, but also stressed
Reason: Glad that I’m on summer break, trying to be patient about my computer glitches, bored- trying to find something to do with my summer, also stressed because I actually have lots to do (MV making, writing, journaling, finishing incomplete artwork) and a lot to catch up on, too, but I just don’t feel like doing it.
