Mood: Happy, trying to calm down and chill out

Reason: Well, my mind and body’s still reeling from all the hectic rush of the past two weeks, and it feels like I can’t get my brain to lapse back into ‘chill out, it’s summer time’ mode. :laughing: I’m trying not to worry about the computer right now - I had a small window of opportunity while trying to boot it up where I could see that all the files are still there, so at least I know for certain it’s not a hard drive issue. There’s something in the software that won’t let it boot up past the ‘Welcome’ screen, and if we can get it running long enough to transfer the files we haven’t backed up, then we’ll go ahead and restore back to Vista. It seems like a step backwards, and it is, but from what we’ve read there have been a lot of people who had issues upgrading from Vista to 7, and we’re sure that the upgrade is part of the reason why the thing won’t work.

We rented Kung Fu Panda and my sibs and I are going to watch it tonight over bowls of ice cream. :smiley: I’m pretty excited. I’ve heard so many great things about it and have really wanted to give it a chance, so here we go! (The music from that film is phenomenal standing alone - with such amazing music, this movie has got to be pretty darn awesome. :wink:)

I’ve got the laptop all to myself this weekend, praise the Lord. xDD So I’ll hopefully be able to keep up a bit of posting, write some fanfic reviews for a couple friends, and possibly get a chance to talk on MSN (possibly Skype…?) with my WALL•E. :smiley:

Mood: So super excited! fireworks bursting in the background

Reason: Saw Toy Story 3 today. It was the most awesome movie I’ve ever seen! Every part kept me hooked! I had some laughs, suspense, and sad moments, all from beginning to end. Best movie yet!

I wish I could discuss how I felt at every single minute of the movie and what I loved about it here, but then 75% of this post may end up in spoiler tags! :laughing: I might save discussion for the Toy Story subforum.

In a way, this movie also makes me think of how fast time passed by for me, and how I’m also going to start college soon (I’m not moving into college, just so you know). Other than that, excellent film. Wanna get the game now. And also an action figure of the unicorn, Buttercup (voiced by Jeff Garlin!).

And speaking of college, I had my appointment today for special services, and everything went well. :smiley:

Reason: I finally got an account on the Wall-e Forum last night. So happy…
And yesturday we went shopping wich is something I rarely get to do. I got the WALL-E “Recharge” book and it has 4 glorious chapters. :smiley: And I got a Slinky dog, Toy Story, and Toy Story 2. The only un-Pixar related thing I got were some black and white fuzzy, long feathers. They’re so soft and fluffy!

After 5 years of partnership with my girlfriend, she had I have separated. It was my decision but it hurts really bad! I’m not feeling very Pan… I’m not feeling very anything… just depressed and destroyed…

Mood: Content/Sleepy
Reason: Today I went on a day out with the family to a historic mansion in some beautiful countryside. The weather was just right, the things inside the mansion were wonderful (especially some of the crystals- one I liked in particular was this electric-blue crystal) and it was just so peaceful. It’s like I’d escaped reality for several hours, I was so engrossed in today’s activities. Being in the great outdoors has left me feeling a little tired! :stuck_out_tongue:

Oh my goodness, I am so sorry to hear that Captain Pan. I do hope you feel better soon - heartbreak is totally awful, and very hard to get over. I’ll be praying that you do well.

Mood: Absolutely ridiculously tired

Reason: I spent nearly my entire day cutting out and sewing my Toothless plushie, entirely by hand! It’s just about midnight and only two minutes ago did I get done my work for today. I got his head assembled, and will be able to start putting his body/tail together tomorrow. :slight_smile: I still can’t believe I’m doing this all by hand… it’s hard work, but from what I’ve put together already, it’s going to look so good and so darn adorable when I’m finished! :smiley: I can’t wait to get it done so I can cuddle it. <img src=“{SMILIES_PATH}/love2.gif” alt=“:loves:” title="In

Reason: Something’s been wrong with my computer. Today, when I went to deviantART, for some weird reason, everyones icons and pages got red x’s, while my page stayed unaffected. Come to find out, it’s the laptop I’m using, but then again I’m thinking that our web filter is suddenly acting up and blocking dA’s download provider, because on my mom’s computer, everything showed up fine, and her laptop doesn’t have a filter. Then again, the site was working just fine on my computer this morning before that incident… :confused:

I feel sorry for you Captain Pan. Take as long as you need to overcome your grief, then move on. There are plenty more fish in the sea, the world is not enough, you and her can still be friends, yadayadayada. So I uploaded my latest fanart, and it’s my very first How to Train Your Dragon artpiece! I’ve been hemming and hawing over it for one month, and today I decided to just finish it and get the thing up so I can move on to the next work. I guess you can’t get too attached to your art, or you’ll never make progress! :stuck_out_tongue:

I like your mashup TDIT! That’s really clever putting Avatar and How To Train Your Dragon together. And is there a reference to Titanic in there too? Like how Hiccup is holding Astrid like those people did in Titanic? (I can’t remember the names of the characters) Since Avatar and Titanic had the same director and all, that’s what it reminded me of :wink:

I’m excited cuz this is officially my 1000th post! I think that makes me an Axiom Crew member, right? I think that’s pretty cool, cuz I’ve been wanting to get to 1000 for a while now, and now I’m there :smiley:

Other than that I went over to a friends house today where a few other friends of mine and I had a water balloon fight and then we went over to a dollar store and looked around and looked at some of the stuff and we actually laughed really hard at some of the stuff. Like, we saw a bottle that said “real mayonnaise”, cuz you don’t know it, but you’ve been eating fake mayo your entire life without knowing it. :laughing:

And tonight I’m gonna watch Zombieland on Netflix cuz they finally put it on there for the instant queve. I’ve wanted to see Zombieland for so long now, I can’t wait! :stuck_out_tongue:

And I get my braces off this friday!

red- Aw, that sounds so sweet! I love it when people make their own plushies; they’re so much more valuable than shop-bought ones. I still have my own Randall plushie that I made around six years ago, even if it is a little bit tatty. :laughing:

Mood: Tired but happy.

Reasons: Still haven’t quite recovered from the six hour car journey yesterday, but this summer is looking to be a good one. Aside from working, I’m going to be volunteering in a local adult learning disabilities centre, and it’s an amazing place- they do everything there, from woodwork to horticulture to bakery! So I get to have lots of fun whilst helping people at the same time.

Plus I’m going to the beach tomorrow with my friends, and after a week spent pretty much solely on the beach, it feels like an extension to my holiday. Lovely jubbly!

Mood: Tired, and very much disappointed

Reason: Well, I ended up spending my entire weekend working on that plushie while my parents were away, and hardly got the chance to use the computer, so I couldn’t post much like I wanted to. Then my parents came back a whole day earlier, so now I have like, no access to the Internet anymore… well, until we get Mom’s computer fixed. I’m currently babysitting a toddler for an entire day and am posting from his mother’s iPod, which is really annoying and painstaking. :laughing:

I took him down to the public pool after lunch, and we had to walk all the way there and all the way back in the heat, and I over-dressed this morning not knowing just how hot it was going to be today. He’s crashed on the couch, which I expected cuz I knew how tired he was from all the walking, poor thing.

I don’t really know when I’ll be able to get on again for a while, but I just kinda wanted to let you guys know tha I’m still alive and will be even though I’ll be gone for a while. :unamused:
