Mood: Disrespected and offended

Reason: I’ve got this application of Facebook called “Pieces of Flair” ,and it’s the best thing ever; you could search for buttons to express your likes and tastes. I especially like to find abstract and flower designs. :smiley:

However, one day that I was searching Wall-E buttons (you know me… :wink: ), someone made a really disrespectful button that said that Wall-E wanted “the birds and the bees”, and as a fan of this movie, I took extreme offense to it :angry:. I mean, how could you say that about an innocent little trash-bot who just wants to hold hands?!? Wall-E and Eve are probably crying inside my head…

But besides that, all the other Wall-E buttons are cute, lovable, fun, and appropriate. I’ve even got a Captain button and a BnL button! :smiley:

Mood: Miserable, sore, tired, and a little grouchy.
Reason: I just got braces today, I fell asleep in the car on the way home and woke up in terrible pain. :imp: I took some medicine but it takes forever to work, and I’m not really in a good mood today.

K9Girl- Ohhh braces hurt a lot at first, but after a while it won’t be so bad. Don’t be afraid to eat, it helps the pain go away. (that’s what my mom tells me.)

K9Girl: Ouch! I remember when I first had braces and although they killed me I still managed to eat a McDonald’s all be myself. Don’t worry, the first few days are the most painful time of having braces.

Reason: Toy Story 3 UK release dates. I’ve heard of so many different ones.

  1. I saw one on Orange (a mobile phone network) in their film section that TS was to be out on the 23rd July.
  2. I heard from lizardgirl that it was then pitched to Weds 21st.
  3. Now I’ve seen a Peugeot (car company) TV commercial and it said it was being released on the 19th!

The 19th is a Monday, and movies tend to either get released on Fridays or sometimes Wednesdays. But if it’s on TV, it’s reliable. :confused:

I’m still guessing it will be out on Friday 23rd, because it seems like the more practical day. And I got it from OrangeFilm, which always keeps up-to-date.

Anyone else spotted this? UK residents in particular?? I’m confuzzled. ;-o

No one is ever in there when I get on there either and I only get to get on there when I’m on my laptop in a location with high speed. And that’s whenever my MOM wants to go. I should be able to get on there tomorrow about this time, but no sure because my mother won’t tell me what time we’re going. :unamused:

As you may or may not know, yesterday Lebron James announced that he will be leaving the Cavs for Miami. Naturally, as a Clevelander, I have to be at least a little upset! I’m not going to pretend like I ever cared much for basketball in general, but I’m not going to ignore the fact that he totally stabbed us in the back. You should of seen some people, they were freaking out! People were burning Lebron jerseys, and when I came to downtown this morning, some streets and sidewalks were littered with them. I even saw a guy driving around with a jersey tied to his truck, dragging it on the road. I’m pretty convinced that 2 million people just stayed at home and cried today, because there was like no one wandering in the streets today! I’m suprised that our giant billboard hasn’t been burned down yet or something like that. Personally, I find it a little bit funny that so many people are agonizing over one person. I mean, you’d think that there would be mass suicides or something, based on how everyone is reacting!

Oh, yeah, braces do hurt at first. I had them, too. Got 'em taken off a while ago (couple months after I joined here, I think). They might be a pain, but their worth it in the end :slight_smile: ! You get beautiful teeth! Just don’t eat any whole plums. Learned that the hard way :blush: … Glad you’re feeling better!

And that’s great that you got to hear from an old friend! I find it’s true what they say: “Absence makes the heart grow fonder” :wink: .

Current Mood: Incredibly, utterly, over the moon :-D) !

Reason: My room is now totally “Incredible-ised” :smiley: . I finally got my cover for my bed! It looks even better than I thought it would! It’s pink, but I’ll tolerate it if it’s Violet :wink: . It actually looks really good, it sets everything else off. I also got a wonderful gift from a friend that made me very happy! A sweet (late) birthday card, and the book I wanted :-D) !!! AH! And it was so great! I’ll probably talk about it in the “books” section… He also gave me a lot of other great goodies. And today, I got a surprise from my Papa: a Violet crushed penny! You know, the ones from Disney? I had all the other ones: Bob, Helen, Dash, Jack-Jack, Frozone, And Syndrome, but I couldn’t find Violet. So he got it off of eBay! Oh, I love 'im so much! And, after a short hospital stay, Nana’s home, Thank God! So, hopefully, she’ll stay better this time :slight_smile: ! Also, some friends from out of town are visiting, so they’re fun :slight_smile: !

All-in-all, I’m having a great week :slight_smile: ! And I think my collection just might be… complete! (Of course, sometime down the rode, something with Violet’ll pop up, and I’ll want that, so, yeah, we’ll see :wink: …)

Exhausted!

It was a long day, I had to check up on sheep at 8:30 A.M. and feed steers at that time too. I had to deal with the smelly DMV, but at least I passed my permit test! And then I walked to my friends work and we walked back to my place. Then I had a party since my parents weren’t home. Then we played hide and seek nighttime, and now I’m about to go to bed!
