I don’t think they should make a sequel to it, I mean I don’t know what is there to do.
True. But I hope they can come up with something creative and original for this movie.
A sequel overall as to feel like a natural continuation without rehashing the old movies plot together. I mean in general I could see DM being able to produce a few more silly shorts but I’m not sure what else could be told which would be as heartfelt as the original.
I mean the girls will grow up and I guess Gru may still have some things to learn about being a parent but he’s already proved he’s willing to put them first in the original movie, so I’m not sure they’d be able to get/make as big of a thing in a second one.

Teaser trailer!
Not much, but i guess its only a teaser.
That teaser wasn’t too bad.
That has to be one of the best teasers i’ve seen in a long time.
I loved how they used a Beach Boys song.
I rewatched Despicable Me tonight, and I can’t wait for the new movie.
It does seem like they’re making a sequel for the sake of it rather than for a continuation of the story though. I’ll give this a try but I wasn’t a massive fan of the first film and the teaser doesn’t give me a lot of hope.
Can’t really say much yet but I hope they’ll try something new here instead of using the same formula which made the first one likable.
I’m sure it will at least be okay.
Like I said, it’s a bit too early to think of this film when not much has been revealed. At least to me it is.
I know what you mean. I just suspect I’ll like it.
Yeah. Most of the cast from the original are returning so that’s good.
Always a good thing for sure.
I hope it has a good story.
I’m just glad to hear more of Steve Carell’s amazing voice. Gru is great, I love how he mis says phrases.
“There are pins and needles that I am sitting on”
I like that quote a lot! Also, “Yes, I went to Kindergarten. I know how the alphabet works.”
I loved Carell’s performance, especially that New Yorker accent.
I thought it was more Russian moreso than American.
I got that impression too^^.
“Oh yes, my pinky promises.”
