Disney Channel just isn’t as enjoyable as it used to be.
I loved That’s So Raven, and I couldn’t believe it got replaced by Cory in the House. It’s just not the same. I always enjoyed Raven’s visions more than Cory’s…stuff.
The Suite Life of Zack and Cody seemed really great, but I don’t see Arwin, the life of the show, in it anymore. Plus, I don’t know if The Suite Life on Deck will be as good, if they’re taking out quite a few characters. I liked Maddie better than Bailey. Maddie was all smart and great with London, while Bailey isn’t as funny hanging out with London.
Kim Possible I sometimes watch when I’m bored. It’s funny sometimes, but other times, like when Kim seems to be perfect at everything, or the old BFFs start to date idea was used in it, it kinda bothers me.
Lilo and Stitch was one of my all-time favorites to watch on Disney Channel. The characters are so lovable. And Disney Channel had to go ahead and take that away. I also loved their crossovers with other cartoons. I think if only it had stayed on Disney Channel long enough, there would’ve been one last crossover with Phineas and Ferb. They just seem like a perfect match to me.
And now I get to Phineas and Ferb. Not that bad, really. Except they didn’t really try as hard with the character designs and such as they did with Lilo and Stitch. Each alien looked unique and such, but in Phineas and Ferb, they’re easy shapes. But besides that, they are cute and creative, and still manage to get me to smile.
I used to really really enjoy House of Mouse. But now that’s gone away to Toon Disney, which I don’t have.
I don’t have a problem with Hannah Montana or Wizards of Waverly Place. The idea of typical teens with big secrets and double lives is interesting. Max from WOWP and Jackson from HM are hilarious.
And as for DCOMs, well, let’s just say Disney Channel doesn’t seem to be trying as hard these days. I watched some of their old movies, Pixel Perfect, Smart House, Now You See It, A Ring of Endless Light, etc. and they had more meaning in them. Now, the sequels to the musicals and the 3 Minute Game shows, it just irritates me. They don’t catch my interest well enough.
Disney Channel hasn’t been the same since cartoons have been disappearing from it.
