A long time ago, I used to love the DIsney Channel. NOw, not so much. THere are mybe one or two shows I would wtach, but I miss th old ones.

My vote goes in ‘I don’t get cable’ :frowning:

i use to go to my grandparents every 2-3 years and would watch the disney channel forever.
Now i watch nickolodeon or other cartoon stuff.

I’ve stopped enjoying the disney channel…unfortunitely.

me too TSS :frowning:

What shows do you guys like on Disney Channel?

I watched this new cartoon on disney channel called phinis and ferb and its ok but i love wizards of waverly place
i like is the actors and the story
all great

I don’t like the Disney Channel. Sorry, but It’s gotten really lame.

Yeah i used to love Disney Channel waaaaay back in the early 90s/late 80s. Then I only used to watch certain shows. Now those shows are either gone or are on at times when I’m not available. Now I dont watch the Disney Channel at all.

how old were you in the 90’s/late 80s because i am only 11 years old

I only watch Suite Life of Zack & Cody, and Hannah Montana. Every once in a while I watch a Disney Channel movie. But I really cannot be bothered with much else on it … I liked it better in the 1990’s. It was really cool then.

Traitor! :stuck_out_tongue: Nick’s like the Dreamworks Animation of Disney, man!

As to whether liking the channel or not, this channel has been like, one of the major foundations of my life, man! Without it, I would never be who I am today (and probably be smoking weed out in the streets by now).

Even till today, there are so many shows on it that’s my favorite (though some of them I inevitably lack interest in). There’s American Dragon: Jake Long (yep, must type the full name :smiling_imp: ), Phineas & Ferb (“There’s a hundred and four days of summer vacation, and school comes around just to end it!”), That’s So Raven (Oh, snap!), The Suite Life of Zack and Cody (Yay, me!), House of Mouse (Take it away, ‘Mike!’), America’s Funniest Videos (only some of those vids are funny, though, but I love the hosts), The Replacements (The, the Replacements!), and, oh man, can’t believe I’m forgetting her, KIM POSSIBLE! Man, they still haven’t show “Graduation” in my country yet. This bums! xD Speaking of that, The Wizards of Waverly Place (“Everything is not… what it seems”)!

Let’s not forget 'bout those DCOMs (Disney Channel Original Movies), people!

My favorite when I was a kid was “You Wish,” I would always watch that one… well, because there were a lot of reruns… Then, came… HIGH SCHOOL MUSICAL! That changed the history of DCOMs forever. DCOMs were no longer boring (well, most of them are), but that didn’t cause me to stay and watch more DCOMs, though. :stuck_out_tongue:

Nevertheless, when I’m 65, sitting on a rocking chair and drinking hot moo moo (xD), I’d look back at these times which was probably the golden years of my life!

Oh I remember the Disney Channel Original Movies. Until High School Musical, I really enjoyed all of them.

I used to really love Disney Channel, but not as much now. I watch a few shows occasionally like Suite Life of Zack and Cody, Hannah Montana, Life with Derek, and Kim Possible. Sometimes I’ll watch a DCOM as well. Definitely don’t watch the Disney Channel as much as I used to though.

Disney Channel just isn’t as enjoyable as it used to be.

I loved That’s So Raven, and I couldn’t believe it got replaced by Cory in the House. It’s just not the same. I always enjoyed Raven’s visions more than Cory’s…stuff.

The Suite Life of Zack and Cody seemed really great, but I don’t see Arwin, the life of the show, in it anymore. Plus, I don’t know if The Suite Life on Deck will be as good, if they’re taking out quite a few characters. I liked Maddie better than Bailey. Maddie was all smart and great with London, while Bailey isn’t as funny hanging out with London.

Kim Possible I sometimes watch when I’m bored. It’s funny sometimes, but other times, like when Kim seems to be perfect at everything, or the old BFFs start to date idea was used in it, it kinda bothers me.

Lilo and Stitch was one of my all-time favorites to watch on Disney Channel. The characters are so lovable. And Disney Channel had to go ahead and take that away. :frowning: I also loved their crossovers with other cartoons. I think if only it had stayed on Disney Channel long enough, there would’ve been one last crossover with Phineas and Ferb. They just seem like a perfect match to me.

And now I get to Phineas and Ferb. Not that bad, really. Except they didn’t really try as hard with the character designs and such as they did with Lilo and Stitch. Each alien looked unique and such, but in Phineas and Ferb, they’re easy shapes. But besides that, they are cute and creative, and still manage to get me to smile.

I used to really really enjoy House of Mouse. But now that’s gone away to Toon Disney, which I don’t have.

I don’t have a problem with Hannah Montana or Wizards of Waverly Place. The idea of typical teens with big secrets and double lives is interesting. Max from WOWP and Jackson from HM are hilarious.

And as for DCOMs, well, let’s just say Disney Channel doesn’t seem to be trying as hard these days. I watched some of their old movies, Pixel Perfect, Smart House, Now You See It, A Ring of Endless Light, etc. and they had more meaning in them. Now, the sequels to the musicals and the 3 Minute Game shows, it just irritates me. They don’t catch my interest well enough.

Disney Channel hasn’t been the same since cartoons have been disappearing from it. :frowning:

I used to like it alot when it had That’s So Raven,House of Mouse,Lilo and Stich, etc. but now it’s alright. What I hate the most now is all the shows are comedys and they try to get a couple good laughs in more than a good story.

I used to like Disney Channel a lot, but I don’t watch it much anymore. I guess the main reason I don’t watch Disney Channel much is because pretty much any show that isn’t cartoon or isn’t based around animals or some sort of adventure usually bores me. I like Lilo and Stitch though. ^-^

Disney Channel was better when they had more cartoons, and could manage to be funny and still get some sort of message, if even a simple one, across.

Disney Channel is one of those channel which i tend to watch often, but with age you would start to watch less and focus on other stuff. The first time i saw Monsters Inc was on the Disney Channel. If your a Pixar fan you can’t hate the Channel.

I used to wish that they had something like “Pixar Week” on D.C. A marathon of Pixar stuff! I think I still do, but I don’t know if they’ll even try that.
