Before I voite, could you tell me who this person is
and his achievements?
He’s one of the most
successful composers. He’s composed the scores for every Tim Burton film except Ed Wood, and composed the theme
music for many television shows including The Simpsons. He’s scored all the Spider-Man films, and the score for
Meet the Robinsons.

that would be awesome. It has to be the right kind of movie though. I liked the score from Beetlejuice and Batman
that he did, so it would have to be some kind of dark movie from Pixar.
Am I the only one that
disagrees . I don’t really know who the guy is , so i’ll stick to the usual composers . I’m not a big fan of
changes , sorry .

Elfman’s great! But, as aZnCdn said, it has to be the right kind of Pixar movie
(although I guess Danny’s flexibe enough to handle scores for all sorts of movie genres). I absolutely enjoyed
his score and the songs that he made for Charlie and the Chocolate Factory (which,
in this case, was only icing in the cake considering that the movie was already so brilliant). One thing I’m
hoping, though, is that he continues to work with Tim Burton - their collaboration has certainly produced many
good results.
And if Tim does indeed make a film with
Pixar, we might get the chance to see Danny score a Pixar film.

love the idea of Danny Elfman scoring a Pixar film- he’s one of the greatest composers of our times, and paired
with one of the greatest film companies of our times, the two should go very well together!
What is he composing
right now? and for what movie?
He’s composing the score for Spider-Man 3 and The
Kingdom.
When I go watch the
Spider-Man movie, I’ll listen to the music and ponder how it can weave it’s way into a Pixar film.
I can’t imagine why someone
wouldn’t want him to do a Pixar film- sorry GLP- he could pull it off amazingly. Well, only time will tell if he
actually does compose one, but that would be so unbelievablly cool!!!
I see your point Bill, however pixar is already blessed with
Randy Newman and that Michael Giocchani (?) guy. We should be thankful for that too!
I’m not saying I’m not faithful that we have Randy and Michael
because I am! I just think Pixar could continue seeking out new composers.
