Something about their personalities, definitely. Maybe because Doc seemed to have a vulnerability that made him more endearing to me than Finn. Finn was already completely confident and sure of himself.
I like Doc better, because he was older, he was wiser, and new more about life. So knew about it’s lessens and how it should work.
One can’t simply choose between Doc and Finn! Are you mad?!
Well,it’s easier to choose Doc,at least for me it is…
This is my exact feelings!!
Well, I think this is the best answer yet.
I still like McMissile better, but Netbug is right.
Touché!
I’m tempted to say I like McMissle better but I can’t bring myself to vote. Everytime he comes on-screen I feel like cheering ‘Go Finn!’.
^Yeah, I know, right?
I can imagine them being really great friends if they’d ever gotten a chance to meet.
I don’t think Paul Newman and Michael Caine ever starred together on a film. Which is a pity
Awww, really? But that would have been so EPIC!
Yeah…
But I read it was Newman who suggested Caine and Sean Connery for The Man Who Would be King, which was equally epic.
I never thought of that! I can very easily imagine that also.
SoA: Caine and Newman together? That’s award-winning.
Yeah.
Well, at least, thanks to Pixar, now they’ve been on the same franchise.
I like the two characters about the same, for different reasons.
I liked how Doc had a chip on his shoulder, and seemed to have an unspoken-of past.
I often think of that ‘they turned on me’ moment in the film.
Though I still loved in Cars 2 on the Tokyo dirt track, Mater tells Lightning to ‘show em what Doc taught ya.’ That brought a smile to my face.
Yeah! I loved when Lightning did the move! It was like a big, awesome nostalgia moment right there.
I agree. It was great to see another little tribute to Doc.
That’s a hard choice. I like both of them. I overall like Finn better, but I think Doc was nicer because of how he helped Lightning, and I didn’t like some of the things Finn said to Mater about being a fool and stuff. That made me sad.
