This is the second of my favorite creature polls!

Triceratops, simply because I was a fan of Cera of the Land Before Time film/series. Also, they were fun to make enclosures for in my Jurassic Park Dino Genesis game … man I miss that game. :frowning: One itsy scratch and it now refuses to read at all.

Triceratops. I always loved that dinosaur ever since I was a little kid. I loved its horns.

I loved those movies…they were so funny sometimes. She’s annoying…

I like the Allosaurus-get it…

Al-Bob: I know she can get annoying, but I still like her. Ducky was waay more annoying. “Yep-yep-yep-Yep-yep-yep!”

I don’t think I watched past the fifth film. I don’t know why I ever watched anything other than the first film. Once they started to sing … it … it got weird. :open_mouth:

I agree with FONY. Ducky was annoying more than anything else. She was an adorable character though.

Oh yeah, she was cute. But still annoying. My personal favorite was Spike. He didn’t talk or anything, but he was funny, esp. in the first film where he stuck his head in the mud while the others were fighting.

You know what should have been added to the list? Dilophosaurus. You know the ones that fan out their necks and spit? Those guys were also a blast to raise in that park game I had, especially that one day when I decided to turn them loose.

When it comes to dinosaurs, here is how my order of favorites go:

1: Triceratops
2: Brachiosaurous
3: Stegosaurus
4: T-Rex
5: Apatosaurus
6: Parasurolophous
7: Maiasaura
8: Dimetrodon
9: Allosaurous
10: Pteranodon

FONY

I know…ducky gets rather annoying but you learn to like it sometimes.

The singing is rather wierd but they have some really good ones…

I’ve seen the entire collection…in the latest one i liked LIttle foot found his father…ahh. That movie was a little weird though.

Wow, and I thought I was a dino-geek because I’d played that park game. I keep having to google these and find out what the heck they are.

TSS, are you sure you spelled # 7 right? Because I can’t find a dinosaur by that name, and I know there’s an actress named Mia Sara …

I did spell it wrong. I corrected it now. My 7th favorite dino is the “Good Mother” dino.

Al-Bob: Yeah, she can be all right sometimes … I thought she was cute when she was doing some kind of hopscotch … ? I forget; it’s been so long since I’ve seen it.

The singing, I enjoyed as a kid, but now … ehh. :stuck_out_tongue: It’s weird I don’t like them much now, especially since I’m into that ‘spontaneous singing’ being a musical fan and all …

You know, I caught a bit of that one, and saw the exact moment when Little Foot realized that dino was his father … I cracked up. It was like a soap opera!

TSS: I just found that amusing. And aww! I just googled that … I think I owned something similar in my Jurassic Park game.

it was FONY…this is your father…Huhhhh o_O

it was fun but rather odd.

I would vote for the Raptors, but since they aren’t in the poll I’ll just vote for the Tyrannosaurus Rex.

Brontosaurus, 'cause it’s long neck is cool and they seem to be the least threatening, had humans and dinosaurs been around at the same time.

And The Land Before Time FTW!

Iguanadon!

Finally, a thread I can dedicate myself to!

Since youth, I have always been intrigued by dinosaurs; a real fanatical geek, actually. And not just the dinosauria, but the prehistoric animals themselves (I’m heading to the Paleozoic thread in a little while).

My personal favorite out of those choices would be the Tyrannosaurus Rex due to its appearance in Jurassic Park, but I’m a big fan of the raptors as well, though not the Velociraptors featured in the movie series, but their raptor species.

I definitely like the largest of their family - the Utahraptor. That thing is monstrous compared to their dog-sized movie celebrity cousins, and the ones who are actually a little larger than an adult human.

The Gigantosaurus was rumored to be larger than the Tyrannosaurus, but in actuality, it is only a tad longer by its tail. Thus, the T-Rex is still the largest dinosaur across the Earth. I wouldn’t want to dwell into the complicated scavenger/predator debate revolving around it for so long, maybe that can be left for another time.

Where’s Brachiosaurus? Ultimate dinosaur, in my opinion. I always loved how their noses were on top of their necks, and the Brachiosauruses in Jurassic Park were awesome.

WBoon- I don’t think T Rex was the biggest dinosaur, but probably the biggest carnivore. They had a Gigantosaurus in one of the Jurassic Park films, didn’t they? So cool.

I love raptors and iguanadons, too. Did anyone else ever watch Walking With Dinosaurs? I was absolutely obsessive over that when I was younger. I might just buy it on DVD at some point so I can watch it again.

LoL Yeah, my bad; they are the largest carnivorous dinosaurs. The sauropods are the largest dinosaurs, probably Diplodocus.

And no, the Jurassic Park film series doesn’t feature the Gigantosaurus; it featured the Spinosaurus which, in theory, is not largest than the T-Rex (heck, a lot smaller I would think) and is not a ferocious carnivore; it’s a fish-eater (that’s the reason I diss JPIII).

I have watched every episode of Walking With Dinosaurs, at least five to seven times for each episode. I’ve even watched its cool special behind the scenes episode, too. I don’t really like their rugged design of T-Rex, but if it’s accurate, it’s fine by me.

Mine isn’"t on the list, it’s the Velociraptor !
He’s sorta like a Randall, so smart and fast and everything…
