I adore Walking With Dinosaurs, but as its got older, it seems that it might not be as accurate as it first appeared. I mean, I remember something in the news about dinosaurs being discovered with feathers and that sort of thing…I can’t imagine dinosaurs with feathers personally, but that’s the thing with archeology- it’s always changing.
Haunt: LoL Yeah, I found raptors to be appealing in their appearance at first as well, but their beauty just emphasizes the deadliness they carry, as the makers of the JP series attempted to display in JP III.
BTW, did you draw that piece of masterpiece? It looks spectacular for an avid dinosaur fanatic like me.
Sadly no. My pencil work is nowhere near that. But because of my storyboarding class I have a new character that is that species. He’s a little Deinonychus named Panko <3
A Deinonychus, huh? Phew, I’m quite a fan of it as well. It’s not too bad in terms of strength compared to its larger cousin in Utah. This ‘little’ critter really packs a punch as well.
I love Spinosaurus Aegypticus and it’s not because he kicked T.Rex’s butte in Jurassic Park 3 (that would never happen anyway). I love how much he resembles a crocodile with the long snout, and the sail is something that not many dinosaurs inherited. All Spinosaurids in my opinian are awesome, up there with of course Spinosaurus, Baryonx and Suchomimus.
Raptors are nasty little things . Utahraptor would probably be my favourite raptor. One of the biggest raptors of all time and you can probably guess where it was found. The Jurassic Park raptors… now they are the size of Deinonychus but are thought to be Velociraptors? Genetic mutation… along with Spinosaurus being the victor of the T.Rex fight… mutation.
Another would probably be Carnotaurus, although his size is exaggerated in Dinosaur.
Yes, you can probably see I’m more on the carnivorous side of life . For the Brachiosaurus fans, you would love to see Walking With Dinosaurs LIVE !!! It blew my brain! If I had to pick a herbivorous dinosaur, I’d pick Torosaurus.
Heh, yeah, I love the Utahraptors in Walking With Dinosaurs (and this time I’m talking about the T.V programme ). The skin colouring was awesome and they did a rather savage attack on that Iguanodon.
