UPDATE: I have a new favorite Sci-Fi movie. And this one is called The Black Hole. It’s a 1979 Disney film. Already found a new favorite character from that movie–his name is Vincent.
I think Divergent will be my new favourite movie. Will anyone else watch it when it comes out?
That’s a hard decision for me since I seen over 1,000 films.
Well, what can I say? So many titles in one’s collection, so little time to decide on a favorite.
I think my new favorite movies, among other old favorites, would probably be Rio 2 and My Neighbor Totoro.
I think my favourite movie right now is Divergent. But it might change when I go see The Fault In Our Stars.
I used to have a very simple answer for this question. But now I would have to say at least 5 movies. ![]()
Ooh my! And what 5 movies would that be?
The Incredibles, Toy Story 2, Tangled, Frozen and Beauty and the Beast. I do feel bad that they’re all Hollywood, immensely popular films. I have a lot more favorites than this, but these are the top. They affected me emotionally like no others did. I might add Prince of Egypt and Iron Giant as well.
So basically, your top 5 favorite movies are Disney films and Pixar films! ![]()
Yes they are. ![]()
Here’s my top 5, in no particular order (and as of recently–it usually varies, depending on whatever it is I’ve been viewing for a certain period of time):
The Lego Movie
Paul Blart: Mall Cop
Parental Guidance
My Neighbor Totoro
Splash
Nice, I see you like comedies. And My Neighbor totoro is a gem for sure.
My Neighbor Totoro is anime, and so are the other Studio Ghibli films. Soon as I check out Ponyo, I’ll have another favorite film from there.
My favorites are Princess Mononoke, Howl’s Moving Castle, and Spirited Away. I love the themes and tone of those movies, as opposed to the cutesy ones.
I don’t get what you mean by the cutesy ones, IV. But I really hope you’re not actually referring to the 2 titles I’ve mentioned.
No, I mostly meant Ponyo. ugh I also didn’t love Porco Rosso either.
What about The Cat Returns? Have you seen it? And if so, do you like it?
I liked it very much, and Whisper of the Heart.
Whisper of the Heart? Also Studio Ghibli?
Yes, it is.
