How about a proper poll? The current one is a mess of nonsense answers. This one is simple, to the point.

Havnt seen all 3? Dont vote until you have.

For me, I cant choose Just yet, I’ll get back to you guys.

  1. It made me laugh, cry, and put me in awe. While I love 1 & 2 to death, 3 was so touching, epic, amazing, hilarious, and inspiring all at the same time - from the first scene to last. Plus the way everything ended up in the end left a huge grin on my face. [spoil](Zurg in particular)[/spoil]

Not only is Toy Story 3 my favorite Toy Story movie, not even my favorite Pixar movie, but I’m proud to say it is my favorite movie of all time. And it was truly amazing in IMAX 3D.

I want to say so much about the movie, but I can’t relegate it to only one post. Toy Story 3 was perfect, and set the bar for animation for forever more. Absolutely the BEST CGI film ever.

I feel like I shouldn’t be voting so soon - being on a high from just seeing 3 in theaters probably swayed my vote majorly…

But I’ll go with 3, because it was a nice sendoff to the series. I’m in the same spot Andy was, so it struck a chord within me. It was the perfect blend of humor and action, and there are just so many things I could keep saying about it, but I’ll kept it short and end it here.

I don’t think I’ll ever be able to choose, hence why I’m not voting. I haven’t even decided between the first two, and the third surely didn’t help.

There is a topic on this already

Yeah, but it isn’t that clear, and it was made before Toy Story 3 came out, so people might want to change their votes.

To be honest Kyle this poll won’t be legit and it’s bad timing. Most people will vote for Toy Story 3 because they just saw it.

100% agree man , if people have just watched it them TS3 pill won’t be worn off for about a week, look at Avatar everyone was saying that was ‘one of the best movies ever’, ‘absolutely amazing’ within the first week, then when the pill worn off and they sobered up it’s merely a three (or four) star action sci-fi movie.

I can not I vote for that in my country have not yet released Toy Story 3 :frowning: , and that ahorse as everyone is with fever Toy Story 3 which they say is the best, but would have to wait a month to see that people say.

Yeh man like i said before, best of waiting untill the pill wears off so they will give more fair opinions on it

I haven’t seen it yet, but in 10 days I will vote.

Maybe, but maybe not. Sure, there is some element of the “high” that we get from having our first viewing of the new film so fresh in our minds. But, Even after I first saw TS2, as great as it was, I didn’t feel the same level of powerful emotions that the ending of TS3 delivered. I know that some of that emotional impact will fade over time, but the fact that it achieved it at all is, for me, what sealed it as the best of the three movies.

[spoil]I keep replaying the final scene with Andy and Bonnie in my head, and it just amazes me.[/spoil]

I agree that there’s going to be some level of hyperbole being this close to release, but then again there are also sequels you just know weren’t as good the second your out of the the theater. For me my most recent examples were ironman2 and transformers 2.

But yeah, this is why another poll will be needed a few months from now, once the movie is out world wide and we’ve all had time to collect out thoughts more. To see how much it changed.

This poll is just to gauge initial reaction for those who’ve seen it.

I chose Toy Story 3… it was the first movie in my entire lifetime that brought me oh so close to tears though i didn’t cry… i never cry at movies… it’s quite impossible for some reason… anyyyway… it was also absolutely hilarious! though most of the people in the theater didn’t even get my favorite jokes in the movie.

Okay, as this one was made post-Toy Story 3 American release, I’ll leave this one open and lock the other one up.

Toy Story 3, to my own surprise. I just found it more frightening, more in depth, and with a stronger plot.

As I think about it more, I think one thing I miss from TS3 is the character moments. the one to one conversations. things like Buzz getting on Woody about choosing to go to Japan. or the dialogue between Woody and Jessie before and after Jessie’s song. there werent as many intimate moments like that in TS3. but thats not to say TS3 didnt deliver in different ways.

That’s probably b/c Lee has a different style from John.

I watched the first two before I watched the third one. Now, I can safely say that TS3 is my second favorite Pixar movie, therefore, it’s my favorite of the trilogy.
