Yes. I needed some time though but I understand the meaning of the movie.
Ah I see. All I know is it is the story of a little deer who plays with his friends, who later becomes king of the forest.
It is ineed the story of a little deer who became king. But I also see in that movie that life goes on, no matter how bad your past was. For example: Bambi looses his mother but later he got Faline and two little kids.
And it’s the story about growing up.
I haven’t seen Bambi in such a long time. It used to be one of my mom’s favourites, and I watched it all the time as a child. I should watch it again, sometime. I hardly remember anything about it at all.
Here is the the rest of my favorite Disney classics:
The Lion King
The Fox and the Hound
Beauty and the Beast
Aladdin
Mulan
The Sword in the Stone
Sometimes I wonder how awkward it must be to be an antelope or something and have to bow to your leonine overlord. I mean, Mufasa is cool and all, but he’s probably gonna eat you. That would just kinda suck.
kageri - Ha! You know, I wondered the same thing as a kid and still do to this day… (snigger)
– Mitch
The Lion King, The Fox and The Hound, Lady and the Tramp, and Mulan are all favorites of mine. They’re up there sipping Chateau Lafite with Remy and Mike Wazowski.
Also, while too new to be a “classic”, Brother Bear holds a special place in my heart. It’s a great movie ![]()
I know I’m probably pushing the border a bit, but does Lilo and Stitch count?
I don’t think Lilo and Stich would fit the movie category of classic Netbugg, but it was a beautiful film.
Ok. In that case, I’m torn between Mulan and Beauty and the Beast.
My sister is in love with Mulan. In fact, when I went to the Phillipines for Christamas vactation, SHe watched it a total of 7 times.
Oh man, there are soooooo many classic Disney movies I enjoy, and they bring back so many memories. It’s gonna be hard for me to choose favorites.
I liked the classic princesses, the way they can talk and be friends with animals (wish I had that talent). However, now I like them less than I used to, because I don’t really like the concept used over and over of a princess waiting to be rescued.
I liked Hercules and Mulan because both had more headstrong women, and I found them more exciting because they are movies of heroes. I also liked the comical relief in Mulan (Mushu and Crikee) and the modern references in Hercules (the upbeat Muses and when Hercules became famous, there’s stuff like autographs, credit cards, and more that caught my eye).
But my favorite, I think would be The Lion King series. The first one was an amazing classic, the midquel gave me some laughs, the second one I also found enjoyable. Most of the laughs I got were because of Tiimon and Pumbaa. Those guys were hilarious.
Then again, if Lilo and Stitch or Brother Bear counts as a classic, they’d tie for first for me.
I think it’s either Beauty & The Beast or Snow White. I love them both!
Ohhh, favourite Disney classic, I will have to think about that, if the Lion King is a classic, it would be Lion King.
But someone tell me if it isn’t.
I think Lion King would fit as a classic.
Kinda off-topic: I spotted A113 twice in Lilo and Stitch by myself with my own eyes (though I’m sure I’m not the only one who’s seen it). When Stitch is destroying his model version of San Francisco, there is a liscence plate among the junk that reads A113. And the truck he lifts has A113 on its liscence plate.
argh, i find it hard to make lists - in my head it’s like ‘well, i like this one because it’s a gorgeous movie…but this one has the best emotional impact…’ so…

Good, respectable lists there hollietree. What about a list for top 5 overall Disney CLassics? That would be cool to see which film you thought was best.
