I’m a little bit late to the party, but those pictures are hilarious Sally’s expressions
And the my best friend scene is definately one of my favorites. It just makes my heart happy
Yeah, it is so touching how McQueen reacts when Mater tells him he’s his bestfriend. Poor McQueen probably never thought he would find a true friend, especially not one who’s an old tow truck! And NetBug, thanks for posting that link! I’m always looking for more caps and you seem to have some good ones so I’m gonna check it out!
Of course Doc’s racing scene is one of my all time favorite’s, but the scene I like the most is at the final race when Lightning is still inside his trailer. He’s starts with his ‘Speed I am speed’ bit from the beginning of the movie. Then he starts seeing the view from Wheel well, and all the his friends from Radiator Springs. Maybe it’s a bit corny but I tear up everytime I see it. It showed that he cared more about Sally and his friends then the Piston Cup.
I know! I always feel bad in that scene when he’s in his trailer and Harv asks him the names of his friends for the free tie-breaker race tickets and he doesn’t say anything. And yes, Nyaki56, I love that too! Also, the part where he’s behind Chick and starts to picture the drive to Wheel Well with Sally, it shows the same thing you said and it is very touching.
Which brings up another awesome scene:
Doc: Well, I didn’t have much choice. Mater never got to say goodbye.
Mater: GOODBYYYYEEEEEE! Okay, I’m good. :B
Pretty much anything involving the “Radiator Springs Racing Team” was fantastic.
^Yes I’ve always loved that part, Good old Mater.
I also really love the part when Mcqueen drifts on the dirt track to pass The King and Chick and Doc’s face just completely lights up. ‘Float like a cadillac, sting like a beamer’
Dawwwwww yes. And later when he realizes why Lightning stopped before passing the finish line. By the end of everything Doc was so proud of him and it was adorable. <3
Bahahahaha, that “GOOODDBYYEEEEEE!” line was one of the funniest in the whole movie. I also love those two Doc and Lightning scenes you guys mentioned. The final race was just an amazing ending, I really like the score for it too, for some reason. Another of my favorite parts in the final race, Guido’s amazing pitstop. Oh! And the part when Lightning drives backwards and then Mater does the “Ka-chow!” thing.
Yeah, those are some great parts there everybody!! I love Chick’s reaction when McQueen does the backwards driving. Something about his voice when he goes “What?!” and the look on his face makes me laugh. P.S. Lovin’ the new sig SallyMcQueen
Hahaha, Chick’s reaction is hilarious! I also love the random “hillbilly” music they play when Lightning does it. And when Mater goes “WOAH! GIT-R-DONE!” Thank you, MissCarrera!
I think “Goodbye” and the country drive are two of my favorite scenes in all of Pixardom.
Ding: Your signature is epic! Did you make it yourself?
One of my favorite parts of the goodbye scene is when McQueen leaves and the whole town starts turning off thier lights until Doc is left staring at the broken traffic light. That whole scene was one of the best parts of the movie.
And Mater was SO HAPPY.
Yes the music! I love when the music in the Cars movies shows the “Collision of Worlds” (yuk yuk yuk) happening at the moment. Mater of Disguise in Cars 2 was a great song for that too.
That scene was great too, speaking of.
[spoiler]“Check it out! I’m wearing Materhosen! :B”
Holley and Finn’s reactions are beautiful:

Agreed! I also love the scene Nyaki said with Doc alone at the stoplight. I was watching the “Goodbye” scene earlier today and I thought, do you guys think Lightning ever find out that it was Doc who called the press? Not that it really makes a difference with him coming back and everything but I just wondered if Lightning knew. And this is just something random I noticed in that scene, when Mater says “I didn’t get to say goodbye to him.” (Always the tearjerker for me, by the way. ), Doc’s facial expression completely changes from the hard look he had before; His eyes widened and his face softens, I think that’s the moment he realized he made a huge mistake.
“Collision of Worlds”, that’s exactly what I always think at that part! Yes! I loved that music part too in the second movie! Bahahahahahahaha, Holley’s face is priceless.
Netbug009 haha thier expressions are priceless.
SallyMcqueen I don’t think anyone told Lightning about who called the press because Doc realized what he did was wrong, and they probably wouldn’t want to embarass Doc. Or maybe Doc told Lightning himself, apologized and laughed it off. Your right about the scene with Mater. I don’t think Doc realized until then how close Lightning and Mater had become.
Thanks, yes I did! And the music in that scene always makes me tear up.
Net, that picture is hilarious! I never even noticed how awesome their expressions were in the film!
Speaking of their expressions can I just say thank you Pixar for not putting the eyes on the headlights! They wouldn’t be able to show any of those great emotions if they had. Another expression I love is that one that one when McQueen is paving the road and Guido and Luigi appear. Guido’s face when he looks up while doing his thing and raises his eyebrows really fast makes me smile. On top of that, [spoil]how about Guido’s face when he was crying during the second film. That was just too cute! I wanted to grab him and cuddle him like a baby! [/spoil]
YES! Agreed! Cars expressions are the best I’ve seen and honestly, the headlight thing is really creepy. That part in the movie actually scared me a little bit. LOL! I love Guido so much! When I saw that part, I was like “AWWWWWWW!” <3 I love how he only knows two things in English, “Pit stop!” and “Okay!”
I know! Guido melts my heart he is just such a little sweetie! And I really enjoyed [spoil]hearing his and Luigi’s backstory in Cars 2.[/spoil]
He is! And awesome with tires! LOL. I did, too! I admit it was random but I enjoyed it, it was also kind of relief from all the action throughout the movie. Though, I always wondered how the two of them ended up in a place like Radiator Springs? Or America for that matter.
