Ok, from my understandings this movie was reviewed as a very good one!

But based on my opinon it wasn’t very good , now, I don’t want to sound harsh or anything, but it wasn’t

that great it’s just not a movie I would perfer as my favorite of all

films.

The 1st time time I ever saw the ads for Happy Feet I’m like "Hey! I wanna see that

movie!" But you know how it is.

Some of it was okay…the middle was kinda boring…and ending was a

little confusing and wierd. The movie was kinda good but not great.

I’m not saying it’s a BAD film, I’m

just telling my overall opinon of Happy Feet.

I’m not hating on those who like the film, or

film itself, i want to hear (or read which eva) opinons! About it!

So, you think it was a good movie or

was it one of those “not so special films”

I have yet to see it. I will

someday…Not a big priority, though.

I

have yet to see it too. THe entire thing that is. I have seen clips of it, but not the full thing.

Well, happy Feet was kinda good but Ithink it wasn’t as

good as I heard.
Ha! Ha! this is

funny.

I never saw it but I have a copy. For some reason I can’t take time out of my life to

watch it, but it’s probably decent- so much talk about it anyways. It’s probably because they shove in a bunch

of modern music mumbo jumbo.

I’ll let you know

when i see it.

I saw

Happy Feet and I enjoyed it .

Look on the bright side … it was made by Warner Brothers, not

Dreamworks.

Looks like somebody besides Pixar can win Best Animated Feature Oscars too, meaning DreamWorks

has an even slimmer chance of ever winning another Animation Oscar again .

I kind of do not

respect DW that much for copying so many ideas from Pixar . Anybody else feel that way ?

Eheh – I knew this topic would pop up one of

these days. (snigger)

Personally, I enjoyed the film to a point where I realized that I liked it more

than Cars…which is saying quite a bit. Happy Feet is

just one of those earth-friendly, environmental films that gets its message across by pushing it in your face

without you even noticing it. I simply love the style of the production and how it was very cleverly thought out

– I really did have a great time watching this film over and over again in the theaters, something that

ultimately surprised me.

To tell you the truth, I didn’t think I’d like the film as much as I do now.

It is beautifully crafted, has just the right amount of slight gags inserted into it that you appreciate them,

and is – simply stated – fun to watch. One feels for the characters; the story; the dancing… I couldn’t

help but tap along with the music at the end of the movie…

In a nutshell: Happy

Feet is a type of feature that I don’t see very often anymore. The design, delightful score, and

reoccuring mixture of space-illustrated screenshots that ties in with the movie really made it all the more

worthwhile; something that I didn’t mind wasting $7.00 on…

Some people loved it for

its charm; others hated it simply because they weren’t fond of the film itself…or because it beat out

Cars. Personally, I don’t see the latter option as an excuse to bash the

thing…especially if one hasn’t even seen it yet.

Now don’t get me wrong – I thought that

Cars was fantastic, and I love it to the core! It’s just that…I love

Happy Feet more.

So yeah. There’s my two cent’s worth…

But seriously, why are we bashing on the

movie Happy Feet? I thought we were over the Academy Awards already.

I was recently able to view this movie a few weeks ago.

And I have to

say, it was somewhat good of a movie. Although it was difficult for me to understand the beginning and ending

parts that show space and/or the earth before it goes into the realm of Antartica where we then see the real

thing of the movie, in terms of the entire story.

But I didn’t make a count on the vote poll because I

liked it half and half and because of the thing I couldn’t understand with ease, stated in the above

paragraph.

TSS - Well I’m not. I’m still bitter. Hehe.

Hey, that kind of rhymes!

I have absolutely nothing against Happy Feet. It seemed to get really good

reviews, and, although I haven’t seen it, I will get myself to eventually!

And hating it just because

it beat out Cars is, frankly, stupid. :stuck_out_tongue:

Happy Feet was cute for the baby penguins and the cool

ones that Robin Williams played… but there was nothing special in it for me. My friend and I made a joke about

the entire movie ending right when there’s that sudden shot of the entire world… hehe. The pop songs really

turned me off, but the feet rhythms were pretty nice.

If I must compare it to Cars, Cars is a hundred

times better… hands down.

I am not bashing down on

Happy Feet because it beat Cars in awards in fact, I am gald Happy Feet won because if so many of us like then it

should win.

Well, i’m not hating on it. IT WAS A GOOD MOVIE…with a good plot it’s like one of those

that’s half and half ok?

I saw it and it was ok. The pop songs were a major turn

off for me and the fact that they used real humans was also dissapointing. Seriously Im over Penguins.

It

was by no means better than Cars, to be honest I think Monster House should have one. I loved Monster House. It

was just sooo different and unique amoung animated films.

It was something that you don’t see in

animation. This is the kind of animated movie that I could see Brad Bird really get behind. You know how he is

always saying that animated films are not a gerne, and that animation can be used to tell any type of story? Well

Monster House is the perfect example of that idea.

It’s and animated Horror film. It’s got great

chatracters and is also really funny. Another really cool aspect of it is that it seems to take place in the

1980’s I thought that was awsome.

Seriously I think that Monster House is way underated and that it is

the most unique and original animated film I have seen in a long time. It was robbed the Oscar because of Cute

Dancing Penguins and a Preachy message about the enviroment.

Ronald C

Never seen it, and I don’t really plan to, unless I accidentally come across it on TV.

I just find it to be a little harsh for a choice to be

“It sucks” because there could be some very huge fans of this movie on this site.

Umm could someone change the

title? because it sounds mean that’s my bad.

But I really didn’t get the ending where they were

all taping their little penguin feet, then the humans or “aliens” deside to put the fish back into

their waters. I think it should of been longer or a sequel because I was quite confussed.

But I have

to admit the little penguiens are cute.

I didn’t like the fact that they had live-action humans in some

scenes.

Can’t believe I’m disagreeing with you MItch ( oh well , first time for

everything ) , but I could see the enviormental stuff right when they said the fish were dissapeering .

I’m just gonna KISS ( Keep it simple and stupid ) : The film , in my opinion , was horrendous (

now I feel like Cowell , yay ! ) , and I was confused during more than half of the film . If I didn’t understand

it , how is my seven year old sister and my nine year old sister going to understand it ?

Also , it had

too many conflicts . First he needs to fit in , then he needs to save a penguin , then he needs to get out of the

zoo . My heads spinning just thinking about it …

I have a big feeling the only reason this movie won

awards is for the fuzzy animals and the enviorment stuff . After all , cars do make a lot of pollution ( lol …

sorry just think about what the fumes that come out are to them , ha ! ) and they’re not the easiest thing to

hug …

Not to mention it’s mo-cap , which means all hey used were a few camera , people , and some

computers . It just doesn’t deserve to be called animation …

So basically , I would rather wear a shirt

that says " Pixar is for two year olds " then watch that movie again . And that is definetly saying

something !

That’s what they do , put in a

fuzzy animal to make you go ’ aww !’ during the film , then you forget what the story’s about .
