Here is the second half of the film:

[spoil]Continuing from

last time…

…Mumble, having realized his temporary place in the colony of Adelie penguins, has taken

residence in the said penguin’s “land”, tap-dancing his way through their home with ease…and

entertaining his new friends in the process.

During a particularly rowdy dance number, in which Mumble

accidentally falls off a rickety block of ice, he and his friends dislodge a large mechanical piece of equipment

that was previously wedged inside an iceburg. Upon closer inspection, Mumble realizes that the mysterious object

is not only nothing like he has ever seen before, it is also quite “alien” in appearance… He alerts

his friends to this, but the only thing they seem interested in is getting as far away from the odd intruder as

fast as possible. Mumble, persistant, demands answers; Ramon responds by telling Mumble to go to inquire of

Lovelace, the Guru and head-honcho of the flock. The only price to pay is in the form of a small

pebble…

With a pebble in hand and a question securely fastened inside his head, Mumble sets off to

speak to this so-called Lovelace. After waiting in a long line to see him, Mumble finally encounters the famed

penguin, and asks him the question that has been beating his brain: "Have you ever been abducted by

aliens?" Lovelace is enraged that any penguin would ask him such a question, especially when he himself

claims that his wisdom was bestowed upon him by the “mystic beings”/“aliens”. He attempts to

argue his case by directing Mumble’s attention to a plastic bottle holder around his (Lovelace’s) neck. Mumble

is frustrated himself in that Lovelace will not answer any of his questions, and even more confused when Lovelace

abandons him altogether.

After being dismised by Lovelace (who calls off the rest of the penguins waiting

in line to tell each of them to turn to the penguin next to them and “give them a great big hug”), the

amigoes question Lovelace concerning his soulmate. Mumble tells them that, in Emperor Land, male and female

attract their soulmates by singing to them, which – in the amigoes’ eyes – is absolutely ludicrous.

Unfortunately, Mumble cannot sing, and this fact puzzles the amigoes even more. Gloria just so happens to me

Mumble’s love interest, but without a heart song, he can think of no other way to impress her. However, Ramon

offers to help Mumble out…in his own special way…

Back in Emperor Land, Gloria is now a beautiful,

adult female penguin, who attracts the hearts and souls of many male penguins. It is time for her to find a

soulmate, and every male penguin in the colony is desperate to get her attention with their own special heart

songs. Gloria is unimpressed by any of them…until Mumble shows up on the scene.
At first glance, it appears

that Mumble is the star of the show, pumping out an extremely impressive Spanish song that captures Gloria’s

attention, until Gloria realizes that it is just a silly Adelie penguin (Ramon, to be exact) who is singing

behind Mumble back, and Mumble was just pretending to sing along with his Latino friend. Gloria is unimpressed,

but Mumble, desperate, urges Gloria to sing along to his tap-dancing routine. Gloria refuses at first…but soon

realizes that Mumble toe-tapping moves, paired with her superb singing voice, make quite a great team. She then

realizes that it is really Mumble whom she has loved all along…

A terrific choreograph dance number

ensues, with all of the fellow Emperor penguins tap-dancing along with Mumble, who is absolutely ecstatic with

how his plan has turned out. His strange ways have not gone unnoticed, however, as Noah, the Elder Emperor

penguin and leader of the entire clan, is very unpleased with Mumble’s moves. He orders that Mumble stop his

dancing ways…or else be evicted from the flock. Many of the other penguins, including Gloria, the amigoes, and

Mumble’s mother, back him up. Mumble’s father, however, is quite devastated concerning Mumble’s lack of

singing ability, and urges his son to change his strange ways. Mumble responds by saying, simply, "Don’t

make change pa, 'cause I can’t." This seems to settle the matter in Noah’s eyes, and Mumble is exhiled

from his colony…

Undetered, Mumble makes up his mind to go search for the aliens himself and find out

what is going on. Despite the fact that they are mysterious in themselves, most of the penguins’ food supply

(fish) has been rapidly decreasing…and Mumble believes that the aliens may have a part in this.

Want the third part? :stuck_out_tongue:

I’m resisting to read it because I

might be forced to watch it someday.

The Star Swordsman - Good for you. Resist those spoilers and you’ll be thankful

you did, because I’m including pretty much everything from the film in my spoiler boxes.

I’ll wait until the DVD.

Whoa- I know I’m replying a bit late but I just wanted to put my two cents in.

I …

well, my brother saw it- I ended up venturing off to watch Eragon. Why? It freaked me out in the beginning. This

penguin with … ahem … a huge chest … singing … and I don’t know it just weirded me out! O_o That and

there were loads of little little kids when I went. My brother said it was pretty good, but I’m not sure if

I’ll ever watch it.

I’m sure it’s good but I’ve got problems and my attention span is shorter than a

matchstick.

I want to know what happens, could

you note me?

I saw

Happy Feet the other day and I think Cars is so much better then HF!

I have the DVD and I’ll see it everyday for a week  that movie is a hit!!!

I just noticed. Doesn’t anyone else realze that we have two Happy Feet threads here?

I think kids would love it, because the penguins are cute.

Ooh, I love the movie. The penguins are totally cute -^.^- The animation of the penguins was so cool and the music was awesome! I love the story with a penguin who is different than all the others. But in the end, the outcast is the one who is able to rescue the colony. Well, that’s something that often happens in movies, but they told that in Happy Feet just wonderful.
The penguins are really good characters. The Amigos are my favorites. But, I think the humans are scary (too realistic for my liking).
