WA-HA, I have a snow day today!!
I’ve got the day off due to flying to Italy later today, so I’m just making the most out of not being around
annoying people with their annoying balloons and annoying chocolates.

Yuck! The only thing I like about the occasion is the candy, sorry to say. I’m just not one for love and cupids.

I had a Valentines Day concert at my school
yesterday. So for my V-day present to my girlfriend, I dedicated my solo performance of "Younger than
Springtime" to her. It was sweet.
Everyone was giving out chocolate at work today, Ugg I must have had 15 chocolate bars.

you that it is kind of a stupid and overadvertised day… but I think it’s nice that you get a chance to let
someone know that they’re special to you.
Heh. I got roses and chocolate from a guy today… so I can’t
complain.

Happy Belated Valentines Day! Or as my one friend calls it, Singles Awareness Day! I like it okay, even
though I’m single. I cant say I’ve ever hated it, but I do think it’s too commercialized (what holiday isnt?)
and places too much emphasis on being part of a couple. I guess I would like it more though if i had someone to
share it with.
Well, turns out that Valentine’s Day was the best day of this year (so far) for my
family and I. Badda-bing:
1. I showed mom and dad that little
Ratatouille screen test of Emile doing his “magic trick”, and they
absolutely loved it!
2. We got to eat some food from my favorite restaurant
in the world – Mimi’s Cafe’ – , which we haven’t done in a billion years.
3. My family and I all watched a movie together:
Hitch. I hate romance, but not romantic comedies, and that one is pretty fun. I just
covered my eyes at the mush parts. (heheh)
4. I got so much candy that I
think I’ll have to throw some of it away. Either that, or give it to the
neighbors…
5. My sister, being an extrememly devoted [i]Tim
Burton[/i] geek, found this hilariously funny youtube video that someone did. I practically wet my
pants watching it, it was so funny.
So yeah. Not such a bad turn-out after all.
I found out that ahlf of my school is anti-valentine. Instead, the come to school
wearing black and start hating everyone and everything. And they do a wonderful job at it too.
Oh
wow… that’s intense with the wearing black and stuff. I would rather reside in peaceful ignorance…
hahah.
That friend wouldn’t happen to be
me, would it? 
I wish I had a reason to celebrate Valentine’s Day. It
was fun when I was a kid, but now it’s just the loneliest day of the year for me…has been since middle school.
