Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows, Part II

It could be cool to see him.

Holy Freedom Fris! You are certainly a lucky duck! I was just in NYC, and Daniel’s face is all over the city in advertisments for that. I’ve only seen/heard one song from it that was sung during the Tony awards. I couldn’t stop laughing! Just seeing Daniel dancing was so silly! But he is a great stage performer, I’ll give him that! My friend made the greatest comment about it, but I’m not allowed to repost it here.

And seeing him in that Tony Award clip. DANG. He is short!

Thanks Kenzie! And yeah, I never even realized how short he is! He’s so little! But he’s still taller than me since I’m so short  It’s so weird seeing him do such a different role. Jumping around and singing XD He looks so silly like you said! I miss him with longer hair, he looks better with it a bit longer. Like in Prisoner of Azkaban, his hair was perfect <3

I heard thaat the screwed up the [spoil]scene where Harry kills Voldemort.[/spoil]

Spirit of Adventure, you really need to do a remake of this series someday, and follow the book series as closely as possible…it would’ve been nice to have it done right the first time, but it wasn’t, so…

One request I will make is that you have [spoil]Colin Creevy flashing his camera everywhere, thinking he’s going to have the only pictures of the war to show people, when a shot of green light aimed at someone else hits him in the chest.[/spoil] (The spoiler blackout is there for anyone who might have been waiting till the final film came out to reaad the books, because I know there are some people who did that.

I do wonder though if audiences in general will react negatively to a remake and that it may require a great deal of persuasion to keep it going…

Guys, guys, guys, I’m finally going to see The End tonight! My best friend booked two seats for us, and we’re gonna get special Harry Potter-themed 3D glasses! Oh, and there’s a roving exhibit of the props, so we’re gonna catch it at the cinema branch we’re going to.

I haven’t finished reading the second half of the book, unfortunately. So this means I’ll be going in blind about the conclusion. I have been a huge fan of the series (the only book I didn’t finish was ‘Order of the Phoenix’ and 'Deathly Hallows), so I’m very excited to send Harry and his friends off on their final farewell tour.

Gotta keep the tissues nearby… :frowning:

Good, thedriveintheater, you won’t know what to expect and you won’t be disappointed when X, Y and Z doesn’t happen.

And then after you see the movie you can read the rest of the book and find out whaat really happened.

Maybe you won’t need them. They missed so many opportunities of getting emotional…

You’re right, he won’t be disappointed, but he can get confused instead.

Thanks for your honesty guys, even though I wish you didn’t deflate my confidence somewhat.

Sorry, mate. I’m somewhat crude when talking about these movies. A book lover sin, I guess.

No probs - again, I appreciate your honesty. And I know how it feels for the material to change during adaptation, I had problems with The Golden Compass and Legend of the Guardians because of some very crucial elements they chopped out (the former because of religious sensitivities, the latter because of length and the fact they didn’t want to make a longer movie).

I will still go in with an optimistic mind, and hopefully I’ll be pleased with the outcome.

Yes, I hated how they chopped The Golden Compass cliffhanger ending.

You’re short! I didn’t imagine that. Not that it matters what our heights are or anything. I can’t believe you’ll get to see Daniel in person! And I agree, I like him better with long hair.

TDIT- I already said this to you on twitter, but I hope you enjoy the movie as much as I did!

I hope you had a great time at the movies TDIT! I’m just a sap, but when I saw it I literally cried the whole way through! I loved it, I hope you did too!

And Kenzie, hahaha yes I’m pretty short! I’m about 5 foot 2 1/2 inches  And I know what you mean about imagining people, it doesn’t matter what everyone looks like, it’s just weird since I’ve been picturing everyone a certain way for so long it’s weird to know they’re actually different looking in real life

I wonder what he’s gonna do now since Harry Potter is over.

Yeah, it’s weird to think about him not being Harry! I know about this Broadway play, but who knows what happens after that. Maybe he’ll stick with theater stuff? I dunno

They will have role offers raining, you’ll see.

I hope so! I can’t wait to see them in action again

That’ll be awesome!

Just saw it. and all’s I gotta it BLOWS, me away with awesomeniss. It was a great ending. The big fight was cool. they also had more humor then part 1. it was a great ending to a great trilogy.

It pleases me to hear that you enjoyed it!
