The Star Swordsman - Heheh
– indeed. ![]()
If anyone is curious, here is J.K. Rowling’s official website:
Click Enter in whichever language you
prefer, and just have fun exploring!
Select the eraser on her desk to enter the Room of Requirement –
the door is now open! Try and open the door by clicking random spaces around the room; when you finally succeed
in opening the door, there will be a hangman puzzle that you will have to solve. Solving the puzzle will reveal
the name of the seventh book, although…since we already know what it is…it doesn’t really matter, now does
it? ![]()
Wow, that really
helped.
I may have mentioned this earlier, but I would simply LOVE it if Harry’s Patronus
changes.
Remember, JKR and in Book VI have stated in strong emotional moments can change those
things.
Now I love the Stag as much as the next guy, it really does give a connection to Harry and his
father, James. But for the final battle after all that’s happened, I can’t help but think that it MAY – it
just MAY –
[spoil]turn into a Phoenix.[/spoil]
But that’s just me. There
really is no indication that will happen, other than the fact that this happened to Tonks in the HBP.
EDIT
The Star
Swordsman - Haha – I’m glad it helped you out. ![]()
Phoenician
emotional enough these days for it to happen. ![]()
And congratulations on achieving your 550th post! ![]()
I love the title of Book 7. Can’t wait to buy it. From what I’ve been hearing, the
release date may be this summer, but I can’t be certain.
Love the movies as well. I was suprised how
much material was cut out of Goblet of Fire , but that paticular book was pretty
long, so they do have to make changes. Makes me nervous about Movie 5. How much will they take out of that?
Considering it’s the longest book (to date) , I’d imagine quite a lot.
Bill - I am also curious as to how they will transfer alot of information from the
book to the film, as it is, as you said, JK Rowling’s longest book to date. I suppose they’ll just have to put
in the key features, adding perhaps a notable quote or funny moment every once in a while. We’ll see how it
turns out… ![]()
Update: Woah – look at my rank! Super
Hero.
Heh…that’s cool.
I’m afraid they’ll cut out alot of Sirius’s roles
, as they did for the last movie . I’d be pretty upset then , since this is the last book he’s in and he’s
talked about alot during that one .
Mitch ( off topic ) : Ehh , it’s okay . I like Piston Cup Champion
and Shark Bait better .
Does anyone
know the any of the new actors in the movie? People who were not featured in the first 4 films?
The Star Swordsman - Here
you go:
Professor Umbridge - Imelda Staunton
Bellatrix
Lestrange - Helena Bonham Carter
Luna Lovegood - Evanna
Lynch
Kingsley Shacklebolt - George Harris
Nymphadora
Tonks - Natalia Tena
Mrs. Figg - Kathryn
Hunter
Dawlish (Auror) - Richard Leaf
For the complete list, go here:
Wow, most of these
people I have never heard before. I can’t wait to see them debut in an extremely popular film.
Who will be the director of Movie 6?
Here’s
a list of directors that have already been metioned as possible canidates…
Alfonso Cuaron
3. Terry Gilliam
4. Matthew Vaughn
5. James McTeigue
6. M. Night Shyamalan
7.
David Yates
Dude. You have got to be kidding me! That is so totally wicked! Somehow, I
don’t think it’s terribly likely, but just seeing his name on that list at all makes me incredibly happy. I’m
keeping my fingers crossed. ![]()
The Star Swordsman - I know
– I’ve never heard of any of them either…except for Helena Bonham Carter. The more the merrier! I love when
they get new people who deserve a spot in the limelight… ![]()
Well, Isn’t it a little too early to be thinking of the
6th movie right now? Movie #5 is still in production right?
The Star
Swordsman - Well, filming on Movie 6 is scheduled to start this August, and it has been
repeatedly rpeorted that around Christmas 2006, Waner Bros. would make a desision regarding the director.
Oh, and it has been confirmed that Movie 6 will be released on November 21, 2008.
MAJOR NEWS!
What
are you doing on July 21st?
Wrong! You’re gonna clear out your schedule because Harry
Potter and the Deathly Hallows is going to be released then! That only gives us five months and
nineteen days until it’s all over!
I know Imelda Staunton from Nanny McPhee, and Natalia Tena from
About a Boy. And that would be so freakin’ awesome if Terry Gilliam directs- he is
so awesome with fantasy films.
I’m actually looking forward to movie 5,
since it was my favorite book and it’s a new director so possibly it’ll be better than all the rest.
I
just hope Jim Broadbent is cast for the part of Professor Slughorn in Half-Blood Prince. He’d be perfect for the
role.
FONY - I was thinking more
along the lines of Patrick McGoohan as Slughorn. I can’t really picture Jim Broadbent in the role. Oh, and
here’s an idea of mine. They haven’t announced who will be playing Kreacher in Movie 5. Since he’s CG, how
about Andy Serkis for the role? He did Gollum in The Lord of the Rings trilogy, and
King Kong in Peter Jackson’s King Kong.
Hallelujah! July 21st it is – what a nice pre-birthday present…even if it is the last book. After 12:01 on
that day we’ll have nothing else to look forward to except Pixar movies… ![]()
Rumor has it that there
are around 600 pages in the book and that two characters will die. I’m guessing either Hagrid and Ron, or Lupin
and one of the other major characters (Harry or Voldemort). I’m keeping my fingers crossed that I’m wrong on
all four of those, though.
And I’m going to that Potter-party this year –
didn’t get to do it last year; I was so mad. (snigger) This year, I’m going! Midnight magic and butterbeer!
![]()
Side-Note - I have a very short, very delicious recipe for butterbeer, by
the way, if anyone wants it…
