This question was meant to be aimed towards the United States of course, but has your theater taken Wall•E out yet? I was sad when mine did. The last showing was on August 12, 2008 at 1:45 PM. That’s only the theater I go to, at least (One other in town still shows it).
The one closest to me still has a couple showings, mainly in the afternoons. But, I’m surprised because that theater is still showing Get Smart and Kung Fu Panda! Which means that WALL•E will still be shown well into September.
One of my local theatres closed it, the other has three showings. I almost never go to the first one, it’s a mess, I love the second one I mentioned, it’s great!
Well, I’m in the UK but there are only a couple of showing times on this week, so I have a feeling that it’s going to be gone within the next week or two. Which is why I’m planning on seeing it tomorrow, before it leaves!
I live in the United Kingdom too, they are having 4 showings per day, it will be a month since it has been out tomorrow.
I will find out either Monday or Tuesday the rest of Wall.E times.
My theatres (all the first-runs) took it out when Tropic Thunder stole everyone’s thunder (hahahaha… we’ll probably hear that alot in the next few weeks…)
The theater right near my house where I’ve seen it before still has it kicking. I’m so tempted to go over tomorrow and see it one last time before it falls out…
According to what the WAL-E ticket search is saying though, by the 22nd all the local theaters are gonna have jumped ship. If I wanna see it one last time, I gotta do it REALLY soon.
my theatre will take it out (i dunno when but it will be really soon) so i go over tomorrow or wednesday to see it for the 3rd and last time
after that,… counting the days for the BR and DVD release!
Right now at my end, Wall*E is only playing at one theater, and that theater is downtown from were I live. They have only two showings but I think starting friday, it going bye bye. So if i am smart, I better go see it again before thursday.
Only one still has it. One of the best theaters around, which is a good thing. Don’t know if I’ll get to see it before I leave for school though. Maybe I’ll ask to go see it as a going away present…
Luckily, though, the place I’m going for school still has it showing three times a day for the next week. At least. Don’t how long it will be showing after that. But it’s Utah, which means lots of mormons, which means lots of people love it out there.
