How to get Pixarian autographs

Never hurts to try. What have you got to lose?

Ok. hi!

I sent my letter today to Pixar.

And i like asked for an autograph from Elissa or Andrew Stanton cuz I really like wall-E.

Also I’m new here on this forum, so I really don’t know how forum-ing works…

Anyways, I saw all of the pictures of other autographs, and they looked really nice, so wish me luck!!

Ooh, hope you get a reply, Roflcoptinator! And welcome to the forums.

Welcome Roflcoptinator! I wish you luck with your letter responses. You might want to introduce yourself in the “Hi, I’m…” thread. Oh, and…

SILENCE!

:imp:

I KILL YOU!

Good luck with receiving a response, Roflcoptinator! Let us know if/when you get anything back, we’d love to see a photo! And welcome to Pixar Planet! =)

They saw it like 3 days ago, so that was pretty fast for snail mail.

At leat I know for sure they read my letter. Because even though I only asked for Andrew and Elissa’s autograph, I had drawn a picture of one of the Cars cars and EVE so that was nice.

I’m a little dissappointed but I know how busy they are. But nice to know they read it.

Actually, I got what I expected not what I hoped.

Maybe I’ll try again in like a year or two because I wouldn’t want to bother them again so soon.

Glad you received a response, roflcoptinator! Oooh, I have never seen a Finding Nemo glossy print before. That’s really neat. It seems as if Pixar have changed their standard response letter, too. Yeah, sometimes it all depends on various things in terms of what you get back… if you really go all out and make a very creative letter then the admin staff may pass on your letter to who you want it to go to, but it depends. The first person who wrote a letter to Elissa got back a hand-written postcard and stickers, but subsequent letters have been getting a standard response. But it’s worth a try. I would love an EVE postcard from Elissa Knight…

yeah that lucky wall-e guy

hmm

Maybe if I ask for only her autograph then I’d be more likely to get a personal response from her…

XD Watch and then I get another pre from Andrew. XD

But as you said it’s worth a try.

Btw what do you mean by subsequent letters and standard responses?

By subsequent letters, I mean that most of the letters that people received from her after that first letter (where someone received back a written postcard from Elissa Knight herself) were just standard letters. Standard letters are templates of letters and they just change the recipient’s name.

Wow, Roflcoptinator! That Finding Nemo glossy is so pretty! You must be so pleased to have heard from Pixar.

Uh oh…

that could be a problem then…

I bet by now she’s gotten quite a few letters requesting autographs and such…

:frowning:

Cuz actually I was somewhat expecting something like what the second guy who wrote to her got. Like where she was all like happy bday and then wrote Mik-E and stuff.

Ugh but still that first guy was pretty lucky. Haha maybe Elissa was all flattered when she got the letter and sent a bunch of stuff. :-D)

You still have a chance… you could try to go all out and make a really creative, nice letter for Elissa and see what you get back.

Also, I haven’t yet seen a WALL•E glossy print.

Hm…

yeah I guess it’s worth a shot…

Haha I’ll see what I can do.

Oh yeah! I noticed no one got one of those too!

Haha maybe they’ll have them “next year.” Or at least around the time Up come out.

I finally remembered to take a picture of the autograph from John Lasseter I got back in July. It is only a preprint, but it is still really cool getting some back!

Wheezy looks so sick in that photo, lol. I have that print, too, Hannahmation. It’s really nice.

I really love the reflection of the characters in the floor in that print- there’s something so…shiny about it. Thanks for showing us that, Hannahmation! Did you send away for it, or did you meet him in person?

You’re welcome, lizardgirl! I wish I met him!! I just wrote a letter and sent it off to Pixar.

I’m planning on writing a letter to Pixar… John Lasseter specifically. I mention “John Lasseter” at least 3 times in my letter. I think it needs a bit of work. I mean, I ask “to who ever is reading, can you please tell John Lasseter…”

I think it’d be nice to write to a “lesser-known” Pixar employee. Maybe I could ask the janitor what they find in the studio. Thrown-out drawings? Slices of pizza?

Now I just need to find a way to convince my parents to send a letter to Pixar and convince them that, yes, maybe I will get a reply. Here’s out it might play out:

Me: “Hey mom, can I send a letter to someone?”
My Mom: weird look on her face “Who?”
Me: looking away, at the ceiling “Uh… Pixar”
My Mom: “whatever, go ahead”

haha

or maybe ask the receptionist if people have ever prank called them XD

if you want the note to be sent to JL then maybe you could do what the others have told me and go all out and make a really nice letter XD
im planning on doing that later cuz last time i expected getting something back from (EVE).
i mean i can’t guarantee that’ll work 100% of the time, but more likely

I’m sending out letters to Brad Bird, Andrew Stanton, and Pete Docter tomorrow. Hopefully I’ll get a nice reply sometime in the near future!
