I recently sent a letter to Andrew Stanton this summer, so we’ll see if anything comes of it. I decorated it (like I usually do) with Nemo and WALL-E characters on the envelope.
Cool. Let me know what you get back, lennonluvr9. I want to know if Pixar have gotten any WALL•E prints in, or if they are still sending out postcards and stickers and whatnot.
I’m getting kind of anxious for my reply because I sent it out a couple weeks ago and I still got nothing back. Usually, this would mean very little, but considering I live somewhat close to Emeryville, it’s got me worried about my letter >.>
They might be going through a busy period right now, with finishing production on Up. Give it another week or two and I’m sure it will come. 
i’m getting a little worried also because it’s been a month (in 2 days) since i sent my letter off and i havent gotten a reply yet 
Hmm, I don’t really have an answer for why it’s taking so long… Usually Pixar are very organised, maybe they are just really busy at the moment? Nothing much you can do except wait.

Stop & Breath - You may want to change the images so your address is censored out of the photos. I’m glad you finally received your autographs! I have no idea why it took a bit longer than usual, but maybe Pixar was a bit busier than normal. At least you got them, though. The quality’s really great isn’t it?

Perhaps the reason why it took so long for them to send it to you is because they’re working to finish Up before it’s released? Just a thought…

So today I looked in the mailbox another time on the way home, and was saddened when I saw the void within it.
…Fast forward to my house. It seems my sister picked up the mail today, and she put my response from Pixar in my Wall-e “Shrine.”

I got an autograph from John Lasseter at the end of July, but I think it is just a preprint. Still cool though! His autograph is on a photo of the “cast” of Toy Story. I would post a picture, but I somehow managed to leave that at home when I left for school.

I’d write to any one of them but … I dunno - I just feel stupid saying “I really want to work there one day” when I’m not even sure if I’ll stick to the life of a novelist or not. 
I mean, I don’t even have a decent animation program! Fat chance.
It is nice to get responses though … I’ll think about it. I’m still procrastinating on contacting other relatively famous peoples.
