I am so disapointed that John Carter trailer wasn’t shown before HP 7 in my theatre. I had my hopes up!
Well, I’m not in favor of whoever edited that trailer, but I suppose the film can still be good.
I also dislike the title change.

Yes, I dislike the title change too, but whatever it’s probably not that important. Maybe it sets up for a sequel or something.
Well the guys in that link said that it was a good idea because people won’t automatically link it to sci-fi. And I agree 
There are already a lot of book sequels, and actually that’s the reason I would keep the original title. After, all the sequels are always called something… of Mars.
I don’t quite know what to make of this trailer - it reminds me too much of Prince of Persia for my liking.
I hope this won’t turn out to be Andrew Stanton’s The Tourist.
The trailer didn’t make me feel like I have to see it. But I will see it because Andrew is directing it. But I did love the song used for the trailer. I’ve been listening to it quite a bit since I’ve seen the trailer.
I have never really been impressed with the advertising for any of Stanton’s movies. But they end up being some of my favorite films.
This trailer is growing on me, though. It comes at you too fast when you first watch it, but on repeat viewings you can see how the choppily edited scenes all fit together. Probably would’ve been best to record only the instrumental parts of the song, though. Peter Gabriel’s vocals kind of clash with the period setting.

It doesn’t look that great, but if Stanton is running the shindig, my butt is in the chair.
I strongly recommend picking up the 10-17 edition of the New Yorker. It has a very long, detailed profile of Andrew Stanton and the highs and lows of the John Carter production. An excellent read.

I say the teaser attached to Immortals the other day! Very pleased! Even if Immortals was terrible.

whta I want to see is a new trailer, gosh we’re just 4 months far from the film, and I don’t see too much advertising, this film has to be great and huge (It’s Andrew Stanton!)
Yeah the teaser, but because the UK is snailpaced and doesn’t get most things for about half a year after you guys get them, it’s a big deal to me 
But I’m looking forward to a feature trailer too.
