Just thought I would let guys know....

That my brother came over to my house tonight and said this guy at his work was getting him a DVD of Toy Story 3 for me! I’m just really really shocked, surprised, and happy. Now I can watch it again and again and again! I’m thinking the guy ethier recorded the movie straight from the theatre, or he got it off the internet or something like that. Honestly, I don’t really care! I’ll let you guys know when i get it.

Pretty sure its just the bootleg copy that’s floating around right now. its obviously an off screen recording, a large part of the screen is cut off.

Oh, ok. My brother said that the guy from his work said it was a pretty good copy, but I won’t know until I get it. But I won’t be happy if part of the screen is cut off.

Also, there is no credits. if yours doesn’t have them its probably a dead giveaway.

No credits ethier? Man! Well, like I said before, I don’t really know if its bootleg or not, because I haven’t gotten it yet, but I’ll let you know when I do get it and if it is a bootleg.

DVD? pffft…not gonna be playing on my TV except in 1080p…haha

Well obviously its going to be a bootleg, the movie just came out. its just question of how good of a bootleg it is.

True. Although, I had a bootleg of Monsters VS. Aliens last year when it had just come out, and it was really good. But, that’s probably because my uncle ripped it (I don’t really know what this term means but it’s similar to bootleging, right?) for me.

Ripping means its virtually identical from the original source. There is no dvd of TS3 to rip from yet, so any bootleg is likely going to be an off screen recording. the only way you’d get a clean direct copy of TS3 is if it A leaked from an editor/test screening, or B if someone cracked the theater digital projector encryption, which almost never happens.

watching toy story 3 on a BOOTLEG copy?!
sinnerrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrr

I am not! I mean, it’s not like I asked for a bootleg copy of it!

The bootleg that’s out now sucks. I haven’t even watched the whole thing, just snippets, because it’s not worth dealing with it. The screen is cut off significantly and it’s also on a weird angle. Just wait for the DVD rip, or, you know, the actual DVD.

I can live with you having a bootleg as long as you buy the actual DVD when it comes out. Promise? Otherwise, we would have to kill you.

(But we would still be very mad)

You know, usually I’ll get a bootleg copy of a movie, and then go ahead and buy the real film anyway. I get annoyed at how in kid shows like iCarly they’ll say, “Ooh, bootlegs are bad. Downloading music is bad.” Anyway, I’m not going to get a bootleg of Toy Story. It’s too beautiful a film to waste a bootleg on.

Well, I would just wait for the DVD, but when my brother does get the bootleg from that guy from his work, I might just watch the first minute or so, and if the quality is that bad, I’m turning it off.

And don’t worry Rac_Rules, I do intend on buying the actual DVD when it comes out.

i’ll admit i watched a bootleg, but just like with Up, i will go get it on blu-ray the day it comes out XD

Lucky lucky you! haha. Something like this happened to me with Alice In Wonderland…my neighbor just happened to magically have a copy of the dvd a month before it came out…haha…can you say bootleg? Oh well I was just happy to see the movie :unamused:

But like someone else here said, I did go buy it when it came out  haha. I feel guilty… XD

I love watching a movie with the whole audience reacting, laughing, booing etc.

And luckily I’ll be watching TS3 with Mr Lee Unkrich. (I love bragging me)

me too! When I saw TS3 it was really great how everyone laughed and cried together…You’ll love it! And you’re so lucky that you get to experience it with the creators! =D I’m so jealous! haha.

Booing? Who’s booing at TS3?

And seeing it with Lee? explain?
